Wasn’t redefining perceptions as illusion kind of putting the fly back in the bottle?

I have never heard of this philosopher, G. E. Moore. I have to read this man, for he is brilliant and humorous. I have never laughed so hard in quite a while. Especially, the trip to see to get his award from King George V. I believe he must have read Thomas Paine, Common Sense - The Age of Reason Rites of Man, my favorite at the beginning of our complicated history of American Imperialism and colonization. Memorize this: Quote: 1. My own mind is my church. The world is my country. 2. To do good is my religion. 3. The nightmare of the demog, could you get the garbage off the screen? 4. I love my country. Thomas Paine One of my favorite American philosophers is William James. 1. The Varieties of Religious Experience 2. Pragmatism 3. A Plurralistic Universe 4. The Meaning of Truth 5.
