Armenia with its small 2.5 mln population and one of the poorest economies in the region has nothing to loose. After all, borders were closed for 27 years and nothing good happened. Cooperation may bring some benefits for people.

France is not weird. France is the eternal enemy of Turkey. Always has been and always will be.

I would say it's a welcome change for both the countries. On 2nd February, 2022, the inaugural flight from Yerevan to Istanbul successfully connected 🇦🇲 with 🇹🇷.. Yes, there are challenges but I believe you cannot let your past define your future. Talks can always keep going on between the leaders of both nations.

Russia's economy is much too small to be much help to Armenia so the quickest way to prosperity would be to follow Georgia and apply to join the EU. However, Russia will not tolerate yet another 'defection' from its sphere of influence towards the much wealthier EU.

I think this is good. Turkey is the gateaway to Europe. My issue with Turkey isn't even recognizing genocide. My main issue with Turkey is that they're Azerbaijan's butler. Everything Azerbaijan commands, Turkey does without questioning. If Turkey could be more objective, then I would respect them more.

Turkey was one of the first countries wich recognized the independence of Armenia and started diplomatic relations with Jerevan after the fall of soviet union. It was the armenian state, wich didnt recognized the int. borders of Turkey. After this Armenia also didnt recognized the int. borders of Azerbaijan and invaded the Karabakh region of Azerbaijan. So in the issue of Karabakh the int. Law also supports Azerbaijan not only Turkey. There was 4 UN resolutions wich called Armenia to finish the invasion of azerbaijani lands but Armenia rejected all these resolutions.

Naghorno Karabagh has never been part of the independent Azerbaijan as they declared independence from the USSR a year before Azerbaijan itself became independent from the USSR. No one cancelled the nations right to self-determination after all and 98% of people in Nagorno-Karabakh were ethnic Armenians. Furthermore, I don’t think it is wise to point out Nagorno Karabakh when you have the conflict of northern Cyprus.

However, you cannot explain me how Armenian usage of diaspora in political sphere all over western nations. They love to dumb money to leaders of western nations just to mock Turks. I wish they rather use this money to help Armenia prosper economically. You can't justify this bs. They literally thrive from hatred where as Turks are just fed up with it. If Armenians wants blame someone for "genocide" they should blame themselves first and then "valueless west" and russians! But yh, it's easier to blame others to hide your own crimes. Even the first Prime Minister Kachasnuni admitted the crimes of the Armenians as i wrote before and published it in a book, not only he, but also other members of the Tashnag/Hunchak Party of the Armenians. Talking hole time, not only here also at other "media" only about turks and how "they have killed people" but never mentioning of killed turks, kurds or circassians is simple NOT serious. Propagating hole time about killed 1.5m Armenians, which is not true anyway but not even a word about killed around 2.5m ottoman citizens, incl. Armenians by side of the ottomans. Courts cannot prove genocide, on the contrary courts of the EU prove that it is not equated with genocide. There are even several court judgments at the European Court of Justice. At that time, Ottoman officers were tried in Malta and all were acquitted. No Genocide! Incidentally, it is eleven years ago that Turkey officially asked Armenia to open all archives, to let an international independent investigative committee work on the matter and Turkey would accept the result of the investigation, but the Armenians have refused to date. Why? Turkey demanded that all archives be examined, not just Armenian or Ottoman, but also British, French and Russian. The proposal was to set up an independent, international committee of inquiry and investigate the whole issue thoroughly. Turkey also guaranteed to accept whatever the result is. Was rejected by Armenia! Why? What does that tell you? "Everyone calls it a genocide" Firstly, with everyone you mean valueless west politicians. Secondly, as u wrote "calls" exactly that is it, political propanganda, nothing more. So, what re u talking about... Educate urself seriously... Dont pull out armenian lobby propaganga here, kiddo!

Why are governments allowed to deny the Armenian Genocide but not the Holocaust? They are the same thing with different victims and perpetrators. However, perhaps Turkey and Armenia can have better relations without Turkey admitting the it committed genocide if Turkey returns Mount Ararat to Armenia. I visited Armenia twice in 2015 and plan on living in Yerevan during the warmer months after I retire at the end of 2023. BTW, I have no Armenian ancestry. So, it would be very difficult for me to establish permanent residency in Armenia. This isn't a problem as I do not plan to live in Armenia during winters. I have nothing against Turks even though my family fled the Balkans and immigrated to Italy to remain Christian with the rise of the Ottomans. However, the was a very long time ago.

Armenia depends on Turkey. Those who they considered as their brothers, Russia and Greece has abandoned them. Many armenian stores sell Turkish products. Tell me why would Turkey need such a poor small country that has nothing to offer? Armenia is located in between Turkey and Azerbaijan with no access to waters. @@madzhid12 Kars went from pop of 700,000 to 250,000 after Turkey closed their boarders. It was Armenians that was keep Kars our ancestral land / city alive. Armenia 🇦🇲 does not need Turkey it’s the soviet minded left over people that are not thinking straight. In the new world, Armenia can survive with borders closed. Better to live in peace then to see Mongals.
