I'm sorry but the new years eve kiss that flash backed to their first kiss was the greatest scene of any tv series I've seen in a while, like I audibly gasped and got chills through my entire body the first time I saw it

I completely agree, my body froze and went into a state of lethargy. It broke me in a good but horrible way. This show made me show emotions like I’ve never before, truly a masterpiece.

THIS oh my god!! I've never seen anyone talk about it before, but that scene just killed me. The soft piano (that they used in ep1 for their kiss!!) laid onto the mirroring kisses, it is just so deeply evocative and so beautiful. I come back to it regularly when I need a good cry.

Great Edit. This show made me feel things I haven't felt in a long time, truly a masterpiece.

For someone in their 40s I have experienced all of this. This is the truest depiction of growing up. Never easy. But some great memories

The series was a work of aching beauty - so grounded and real, yet shot through with an ethereal transcendence. Well done; you've completely done it justice.

This show is so inextricably sad it's insane

God this show... I ended a 5 year relationship just a couple months ago and this show made me miss what we once had so much. The excitement and tension and heartbreak of connell and marianne's story had me feeling things I haven't felt in a long time. It makes me want to feel it all again but at the same time also makes me wish I never do.

OMG! This has to be one of the best Normal People videos I have seen. I. wish I knew how to cut the video to work with the lyrics and beat of the music but what Jez has achieved here is true poetry. What is even more heartening is that he has edited in such a way to indicate the many happy points in their relationship, the laughing, the passion, the tenderness and the final ‘we will be okay’ and ‘we will be fine’. If there was one video that could help you in post Normal People anxiety this is it.

You’re welcome. i have a Normal People Facebook group which I shared it with and everyone loved it! I love that you brought out the happy points in their story. Started the show cause I wanted to see what the fuss was all about but I started falling in love with this show on the first episode. Pure talent and great chemistry between the two of them. Also you did an amazing work ! You captured their story in simple yet meaningful scenes. ❤️

Connell comes back to Ireland after a year in NYC. He’s met at the airport by Lorraine and Marianne. Connell hugs them both, then gets on one knee, pops open a ring, and proposes. Cue music.

What an amazing chemistry between these two - one of the best I've seen. Shame the series was only half-good (like literally: the first half was great, the second half was plain annoying)... I kinda wish I could take the actors/characters and move them to a different story - or at least a different third act and ending, if we're keeping the same setting.

It was realistic, in reality we don't always have happy endings not to say we have sad ones but i find the serie very realistic to the point a reasonable person wouldnt be mad about it.

This show has warped the idea of love. I feel in love with a man who was like Conor in so so many ways. The bad communicstion is not cute or sexy after 6 months, its frustrating and energy sapping

As much as I love this show, I don’t want there to be another season, cause I feel like there would be a small chance of them messing up the whole show and loosing the plot, and tbh that’s a sacrifice I’m willing to take. I mean I got the closure I needed Also I love this edit ♥️
