If you're looking for a religious leader that is flawless all of the time and is sinless then you're really sizing him up with Christ our Lord. No man is sinless. Not Gospel writers Matthew, Marcus, Lucas and John. Not the apostles or the saints. Only God makes perfect decisions and lives sinless but God did give us the seat of Peter that every pope is the successor of. It's good to take inspiration from other good Christians but we shouldn't pause on our track and keep these individuals as the source of our faith in God. Instead by learning from their inspirational faith get connected to God personally and thus build a solid direct relationship with God.
