Huskies are super hard workers when you ask them to do what they were bred for. They're sled dogs. They don't care to do tricks, they want to run.

Or just get a mutt mixed with half German shepherd half black lab and border collie they don't stop either my boy is 55 pounds and stronger than my 85 lb bully and I don't honestly know how many hours of work it takes for him to be wore out.

I know huskies are athletic, but you need to check the markers on the distance again. That's an impressive jump for any breed. The different colors on the border are about 10 yards. That's a jump of 90 to 100 feet.

Next one waiting for adoption😉🫠 me and my fiancee living the rule: "You will not change the whole world, but still You are able to change the whole world for the smallest creatures..." right now having Husky (grandma 11 years old) and 3 cats only at 37m²) anyway Husky had and still have a lot of movement since 1,5 yo till 9 y.o dragging sledges etc. Right now because of age only 3 hours walk daily😄 impossible is nothing. Husky are best ❤❤❤

Honestly, I didn't think the Husky jumped that far. His back feet did leave the ground though, so I guess he was 'flying' for second. On the other hand, the first dog was pretty good, even if it was slow mo. If you run it at normal speed, it only went half the distance. :-)

That first dog wouldn't last 5 minutes pulling a sled in −40°F snow. They all have their own skills. Edit: Wow! I made a simple comment about all dog breeds having their own skill set and commenters have gone off the defensive deep end. Pick your battles, folks. This shouldn't be one of them. The only reason people's pet huskies aren't pulling sleds is because they don't live where it's necessary or practical and like any other athletes, it's all a matter of training and circumstance. If that husky who dove into the ditch was in the right place, he'd be pulling a sled too and perfectly capable of doing so. Yes, pit bulls are strong and they can pull heavy weights if trained to do so in a brief competition that lasts but a few seconds, but they couldn't keep it up for 12+ hours at a stretch in Arctic weather or find their way home if the human with them was incapacitated. Huskies also have a considerably stronger jaw strength than pitbulls, BTW. When my husky dives into a ditch like that , he comes out with a possum. We let them go but if I didn't have food I'd be eating and you'd be starving. Lighten up!

That huskie is hunting for sure. In Germany we even have a name for that kind of jump. Its called "Mäuselsprung". All kind of hunting dogs do that to catch small animals. I really would like to know what its called in english.. I cannot find any translation but you can find pictures if you search for that word.
