Seriously, so much heritage in one place. He should split his collection up into different locations in case of fire!

Maybe I'm the only one but poor basses. They probably have only been played a few times and have just been collecting dust. They are very nice no doubt but it saddens me to see hundreds of rare basses just being stored away and not being put to use.

what are the differences between Precision & Jazz bass guitars and which is preferable to most?

  • @wildghoul7485

Precision has a thicker and more agresive sound, perfect for Punk and faster music, Jazz basses have a thiner and more smooth sound, thats for things like Jazz(duh) Blues,Country you know slower stuf, but you can use both for anything you only need to do a couple of changes with your amp

Main diff is the pickups. J basses have a more versatile sound. Also the J bass neck narrows, slims down as you get to the headstock. P bass is the same thickness all the way.

  • @stancaj9295

What’s crazy is the fender cases for those basses have no protection on the inside the bass can just wiggle around in the case your spending min of a grand you think they would make a good case

You dont even wanna know the dirty deeds I'd do for a 70's jazz bass .. It's like my lifes goal to save up enough money to get a vintage jazz bass.. now doing that on 14,000$ a year will be hard to do with bills and all but A man can dream.... P.S. kids , go to college

Why does he say Ive also got. They aint yours. I love watching the videos. But its stores like these that are responsible for the silly prices for lets face it factory produced guitars. And i own an expensive vintage strat. But Im not sure its a million miles away from the other strats ive owned and played. As the prices of these old guifar suggests.
