Which one is really the best for you - let me help you figure that out. Today, I shall compare ExpressVPN vs NordVPN by going through all the pros and cons they have, pulling no brakes.

VPNs reduce speed by default, so taking my baseline of 300 Mbps, I can show you the NordVPN vs ExpressVPN speed difference.
To begin the ExpressVPN vs NordVPN speed test, I used the OpenVPN protocol to connect to the UK. This protocol is older, so the performance a bit slower, but with WireGuard and NordLynx it’s much better.
And it shows. It’s visible through this NordVPN vs ExpressVPN speed test that their speed jumped up quite a bit. Even so, you can see for yourself, that ExpressVPN can’t quite keep the same performance as NordVPN.
Protocols are not only speed-defining elements of a VPN: servers and locations matter a lot as well. In that regard, NordVPN leads with over 5,300 servers across 60 countries. ExpressVPN has more countries in comparison - 94 in total, but it used to have fewer servers than NordVPN, around 3000. Though what's strange, they currently removed their server count on their webpage...reason pending.

ExpressVPN’s secrecy is barely surprising after 2021’s events. To put it bluntly, ExpressVPN was acquired by Kape Technologies and that’s what I want to start with when talking about privacy. Kape Technologies has been previously involved in malware production and is currently collecting VPN providers. Zenmate, PIA, and CyberGhost already belong to them, which doesn't reflect the VPN industry in the best light, seeing as they're big names.
Is ExpressVPN safe to use after all this? Hard to say, being sold to Kape soiled ExpressVPN’s reputation, that’s for sure. And yet, ExpressVPN remains in the privacy-friendly jurisdiction of the British Virgin Islands and a no-logs policy is in place. Notably, ExpressVPN was the first VPN to introduce RAM-only servers as well, making it impossible to retain user data.
In comparison, does NordVPN keep logs? The answer is “No” and multiple audits prove it, NordVPN’s no-logs policy is solid. Plus, NordVPN has adopted RAM-only servers as well, which is good for privacy. Furthermore, NordVPN’s jurisdiction also lies in the privacy-friendly region: Panama.
Still, NordVPN had its share of problems, with the 2018 breach fresh in mind. However, I have to admit that NordVPN did a lot to remediate this breach, both with the bug bounty and repeated audits of its security infrastructure.

And with this, it’s time to check: Is NordVPN safe compared to ExpressVPN?
NordVPN vs ExpressVPN come head to head in terms of encryption, kill switches, and leak protection. This means I never had to worry my IP will get leaked or network instability will threaten my privacy as I browse.
But that also means that when it comes to the NordVPN vs ExpressVPN comparison, I need to rely on extra features to draw a line between them.
NordVPN’s position is very stable here: I find most of its features very useful.

I'm new to your channel, but loved the straightforwardness of your explanations. I have a unique situation I'd love your input on. I gamble online, and for offshore sites, I need a vpn, but for legal gambling sites like Fanduel, they won't allow me to have a vpn running on my computer, while I'm logged into their site. I have ExpressVPN for another week. But I have had an issue for the past weeks. Whenever I have my VPN turned on, a lot of my notifications are delayed or blocked until I turn the VPN off 👎. I'm wondering if any of these other VPNs might give me the same issue

What you would have to do is extract the subtitles from this video (KZread subtitles extractor), then translate the English into Arabic, then either read the translation by itself, or read and watch with the video together. The only thing that matter is if they have been proven to refuse to give out logs in court hearings... which you fail to mention here. You just report on useless stuff, who cares about speed if your data is being revealed

Hello. It was a good explanation. But all these are for the countries with a free and active Internet. Please try and test them under tough, oppressed, and limited Internet situations where the goverments have limited the access of the Internet. In my opinion, the one that comes out on top in those situations and lets you access, is the winner.

i think VPN was initally made for more lighthearted use like watching netflix shows in other countries. If you're using VPN in order to bypass the Law in your Government then that's not really VPN's problem or intended use.

make sure to set a custom DNS filtering and it can remove you ISPs IP on you PC. I did it on my router, PC and Nord and it's more secure and better network stability. The Nord won't work for threat protection but Bitfender can
you forgot to mention the customer support for both vpns cuz expressvpn uses humans for customer support while nordvpn does not
