@@petter5721 Sweden has the third-largest navy in the Baltic Sea after Russia and Germany. The Swedish navy especially with its patrol vessels and submarines tailor made for the Baltic is probably on par with Denmark and Norway combined.

Even then, the Norwegian Navy is the one with more hulls - 6 submarines, 4 frigates and 6 corvettes (vs 4 subs and 7 corvettes of Sweden). But it doesn't matter that Norway has more frigates because they're not suited for the baltic, and Sweden's corvettes are in return useless in the arctic ocean, where Denmark has frigates and large OPVs. Different countries, different tasks, different navies.

Been training with Danish and Norwegian forces. I can tell from experience war is brutal and doesn’t discriminate. But I would want to fight against or even in there homeland because they are trained and hardened forces and that goes for most of the general population.

@@johnmcmullan9741 While we (norwegian) have not really been into war in ages, but during 20 years in Afghanistan we lost like 10 soldiers, most died to IED's while in combat they excelled great, and even in situation where they where surrounded in valley's they managed to get out well, or when bases was hit and almost overrunned. 9200 norwegian soldiers have served in Afghanistan during the 20 years, and it was not a easy walk for them either.

Yeah we had that in Sweden during the years of cutting down on the defence. Great for finding the good soldiers for abroad missions and special tasks, but a disaster for your countrys defence. Finally my country woke up and started with mandatory service.

I'm an American, but my Family Migrated mostly from Northern European nations. Most notably Scotland, Germany, and Sweden. Love seeing countries work together today, countries that used to wage centuries of war against each other. Not countries that threaten other countries with nukes and try to take others land because it belonged to their country 300 years ago or whatever excuse they make for grabbing at resources. Civilized countries look at the past and say "That was wrong and we apologize for our past aggressions against you, lets us move on and be neighbors, for our children's sake, and our planets sake."

I'm an American with a lot of Germanic blood. I really wish we held onto some of it; I like that Americans sort of carved out their own cultural niches outside of their European roots but I do think part of America's recent identity crisis is simply that a lot of us have forgotten where we came from. Unfortunately the Anti-German sentiments of post WW1-WW2 I think attributed heavily to it.

A minor detail is that, at least from what I know, Sweden mainly went east. Denmark and Norway went west. So I don't think the Swedes participated much in England. But other than that, yes. We were much more terrifying back then.

Super impressive but I see no anti-FPV equipment. These guys would get minced up in short order without that. The amour wouldn't help much. Just look at the Leopards and the M1's in Ukraine.

Nordic countries are a whole different ball game. Russian tactics would not work at all in that terrain. Just look at the Finland-Russia border there is few roads and only forest. FPVs would not be so effective as they are in ukraine.

@@Ronayd They would be just as effective against tanks and vehicles in the tundra where there are few trees. In addition, the Geran drones are satellite communication controlled so there is no issue with interference from the mountains.

@@Ronayd I would also add that vehicles normally travel by road where there is ample opportunity to attack while in convoy. I live in Scandinavia and I see no reason why FPV wouldn't work here.
