Can you make a comparison video between NKD Forester, Mora Lok and Brisa Trapper 95? Thankyou.

Hi, maybe in the future. I don't own a Trapper 95. It is an interesting comparison. The trapper and NKD are very similar I think. If I can get my hand s on a trapper 95 I'll see what I can do. Greetings Wim

Hi, I got my hands on a Brisa trapper 95 green micarta N690Co. So probably be testing them next month. So NKD forester vs Brisa trapper 95 and Joker trampero. Also nice 80CrV2 vs N690Co vs 14C28N. Greetings Wim

@@traveler5898 Great! looking forward to your video review. I've been eyeing on the Brisa Trapper 95 since 2022. Also I have a Casström Woosdman, wondering how it compares to the Trapper 95.

The NKD works WAY BETTER after i gave it my own zero edge sharpening . Mine came with a very uneven and dull grind in belly to tip. You can see the edge shine in this video on the belly . Its convexed because whoever is grinding them is twisting the edge as they finish the belly to tip portion. I believe they do it on purpose for skining deer so it can glide over the bone. I personally dont like that type of edge its horrible for carving and notching . I wish they would allow the owner to make that decision cause it takes away alot of steel to change or "fix" the scandi.

That makes sense. Better to be clear to the costumers what they get. I will see if I can reshape the edge also. I do like the design, it just doesn't perform as good carving as other knives. Thanks for the comment. Greetings Wim

The best knife by far, would be the Forester, if it didn't came with a 4.2mm thick blade. If it was 3mm, it would be the perfect knife! Not for me, but generally. Who knows knives, knows what I mean. It's a shame actually, because it seems perfect on every single other aspect of the knife. The blade shape and size, the edge height, the handle, the steel. all would be great, with a 3mm blade stock. Scandi grinds, can't do bushcraft tasks, if they are 4mm and up. Morakniv are considered the best, and that's one of the reasons...

@@VanNordstein Exactly!! Unfortunately, people don't use their knives, usually their opinions rely on videos and all the marketing and brainwashing that comes with it.
