I find it hilarious there are people trying to find the sheets for these kinds of things, although you can't blame them, they're probably just new to the genre.

@@koreboredom4302 What's so funny about it? There are lots of books of transcriptions of this kind of stuff. If Tatum and Peterson can be transcribed, this can, too.

I ran into this guy by accident. I’m so sorry I haven’t heard from him before. Man oh man, I really don’t know where to start. Tremendous groove, great rhythm, dynamics, beautiful arpeggios. What a talented and gifted musician. But let it not fool you, achieving this masterly level is really hard work. I love him!

this inspires me to hit the practice rooms hard and also quit playing piano altogether 😂good work, man.

The "ragtime" is really Erroll Garner's mid-40's style, which is actually advanced stride. Not exactly classic ragtime but somewhere in the region of ragtime.

I love this guy....... beautiful playing. Inspires me to play my Nord :)

Ragtime doesn't swing (straight 8th notes) and is written in 2/4. Stride swings and is written in 4/4. Also stride was far more reliant upon improvisation and used a lot more frilly and spectacular tricks in the right hand. Plus there was a lot more variety in the left hand - larger jumps and more variation in the basslines played with the little finger. And tenths in the left hand were commonplace.

@@wilsargisson3626 Ragtime was fixed structure.Not improvisation.Maple Leafe Rag was played just as it was written.Same for all ragtime recordings.They just play a piano piece.If some improvised,that;s another story.But historic recordings are as I wrote above.
