It's amazing to see that a rock'n roll star like Neil Young can be so trully, an excelent companion, on stage, to a young rock performer and composer as the adorable Norah Jones.

Damn, she's got such a sultry voice. I could listen to Norah all day long. For her to cover Uncle Neil is a great tribute. Having him just hang bang and let her lead the performance is so "Neil" of him. That's why he's such a badass. He's the rough in a diamond!

I’m 76 years young and loving this rendition of this classic tune. Been down by this river with Neil many times and Norah makes it so sweet. Timeless…

She never blows a cover. Always brings something. Amazing talent.

What a great performance! Neil is so cool. Doesn't barge in and take over. Just lays down some of his amazing patented simple great guitar work in support. This is what music is all about right here. Wish the video was better, but the sound is awesome! Beautifully done!

Well, the Bridge School got a double blessing ❗️I am glad someone could share their handcam with us. Neil was understated and mesmerizing

If I could only take one video with me into the darkness I would choose this one. It is a gem of collaboration and an incredibly timeless song . Other stuff may be fantastic but nothing reaches the heights achieved in this simple arrangement.. Thank you Neil and Norah and the girls in the band. Pure, pure bliss

The genius that is Neil Young. Understated as always, so laid back. Seen him many times, never disappointed. The longevity of this man's eclectic career just is amazing.

The great thing that all aspiring guitarists should learn from Neil is that the gaps between the notes are as important as the notes he plays.

A legend walks on stage and everyone knows it. What a great song.

I'm sorry if it's wrong, but I'm flat out, stoned cold in love with Norah. I've loved Neil since 1969, so awesome.

I’d give anything to be that old guy with the hat who strolled on to solo and do backing vocals for the gorgeous and multitalented Norah Jones! Lucky old bastard😁👍👍

Every time I chance upon a Norah Jones video I fall in love again. What an exquisite artist.

Wow! NJ sings and plays beautifully. And NY rips that little guitar. Gifted people like that sharing their gifts are a true blessing for everyone who is fortunate enough to share it. Namaste

Neil is the most unpretentious guy and wears it well. I don't think he has ever given a fuck about how he looks or dresses. He's got the talent and plenty of fans. I love to listen to him.

Neil's playing is seldom showcased, and he's a credit to Canada, and the world. Norah is so natural, unforced, fine musician without any bullshit. This jam is worthy of the Grateful Dead on their best night.

Neil as a backup singer on Down By The River... I love it!

Norah could sing the phone book and it would sound sultry and amazing. Neil's solo was great.

Bad video, bad audio, and I'm still digging this in 2020. Two of my all time greatest artists. Plus their very talented and beautiful band.Neil was such a gentleman here. Plus the whole concert is all about the kids. Yup. Still here.

Regis :It’s more sad that his wife died right after he left her knowing she had cancer. I used to love Neil , not so much anymore.

It is so great seeing Nora singing a classic like this. Such a good voice mixed with a great song.

I had this playing while I was doing some other work, didn't see the wobbly camera. Loved it.

This makes my life better

I probably listened to "Everybody Knows This Is Nowhere" more than any other album ever, and this song was its cornerstone. And like - Norah Jones wasn't even born at the time! What a treat to come across this video! Thanks for posting.

I agree, I wore that sucker out. Still have the original vinyl. I cannot count the times I have seen Neil Young live. Solo, International Harvesters with Merle Haggard (countrified version of this song is awesome). CSN&Y (he made those guys look like rookies) except Stills whose talent has always been unappreciated. Then again, how do you compete with the true genius of Neil Young. And, of course saw him many times with Crazy Horse. His best concerts have always been with them IMHO.

Two super talents and great people. Young and Old but the same spirit. Thats what makes America truly great.

I love how at 1:52 its like Miss Norah Jones has perfect sense of where this camera is shooting from and spots herself perfectly at just the right time to be in the shot with her and Neil....such a perfectly captured moment and I myself am grateful for this footage and for both of these artists individually...this moment of them sharing the stage is simply inspirational....I love Mr. Young's solo...that's how u solo to a song that u urself wrote years and years ago...truly a showcase of his talent and individuality...thank you and I hope everyone enjoys as much as I do watching this ! 😁 Peace and love from Louisville, KY, USA

Ridiculous. They want to perform with Nora because of her amazing voice that is comparable to none. Ravi's "Music" is nothing short of sounds I might pick my nose to.

My all-time faorite tune from when I heard its first recording ca. 1970. Brings tears....

When Neil Young joined, even the camera went crazy.
