I listen her so many times every day. But my thirst of listening her will never be fulfilled. The more I listen, the more I desire to listen her. What a divine, unique and heart touching voice has been given to her! She is simply the gift of the great ALLAH (SWT) for us. May great ALLAH (SWT) place her to the Jannatul Ferdous and shower rahmah and blessings to her. Also wish eternal peace of her departed soul to the almighty. Amin.

Thanks Rajan for ur opinion.Noor jehan has done a marvelous contributions to Pakistan music industry.U cannot compare legends.Ofcourse lataji is very talented but mind u she admitted in her interview that she was groomed by Nurjehan in her struggling days and it is in record.Under the circumstances and opportunities Nurjehan ruled in Pakistan just like lata did in India.She has sung masterpieces.Both are equally good and I bet Lataji would agree.

Both are legendary no comparison comparing them is like comparing your both eyes with each other n both are zems of India Madam too sang songs in Bollywood before partition and she was given title of malika a trannum in the undivided India

وہ دیکھو کچھ خواب پڑے ہیں ملنے کے تھے کِھلنے کے تھے دیکھو کیسے ٹوٹے پڑے ہیں اور وہ دیکھو اک آس پڑی ہے پریت کی تھی مِیت کی تھی جیسے بالکل مر سی گئی ہے ہاں! کچھ یادیں بھی ہیں پیار بھری تھیں بہت ہری تھیں سوکھ کے کانٹا ہو گئی ہیں اور وہ دیکھو ارے اس کونے میں دو آنکھیں ہیں ناں بہت حسیں ہیں مگر غمگیں ہیں اٹھتی تھیں پھر جھکتی تھیں جیسے کوئ راہ تکتی تھیں ارے غور سے دیکھو ناں ان کو بالکل ساکن ہو گئی ہیں بالکل پتھر ہو گئی ہیں
