Hi there! There are a number of things that can improve your chances. We have another video coming out on March 27 that talks specifically about this topic. My suggestion is to do your research and align your proposal with the interest and guidelines of the potential grantor. I will often even pick up the phone and give them a call and ask if they have any advice before I submit. I hope this helps and be sure to stay tuned for that video :-)

Is there ever a chance of a new non profit getting a grant? It seems all funders only want organizations with "experience"

It is true, grantors like to see nonprofits with some experience behind them. Have you tried using a program like Instramentl to research different grant opportunities?

Hi George. I don’t know of anyone in your area, but you can try doing a Google search for fundraising consultants. Sounds like a much needed program!
