As long as Bear is fine nothing else matters. You're right, these things usually happen for a reason and most importantly you have a healthy albeit rather chunky pony. Would love to follow Bear on her repeat journey.

I can’t imagine how your feeling meggy. My heart is out to you and all the ponies. 💖 It must be really hard go process this news but here are a few positives from this experience as they say always look on the bright side: 1. Bear has been living her best like for 11 months having the best care her mummy could give her. 2. Ettie has been a little miracle foal and can be the best big sister and have lots of training to be a sister! 3. Lastly Bear didin’t feel a thing and millie is doing so well! Never feel embarrassed by loosing a baby foal and worrying about your subscribers not being supportive of this rubbish situation you are in. If they make you feel that way, there not true supporters and subscribers believe me. Of course we want to on this bumpy ride all over again and wouldn’t change that. Don’t forget we ALL love this amazing meggy and all the ponies and foal! We love you tuns and tuns 💖💖💖 never change who you are for anyone and never feel embarrassed about anything you feel or post funny or sad. Love you lots 💖💖 ~a subscriber xxxxxxxxxxxx

Now this vlog made me cry even though I had a feeling about Bear's foal. But I also have a feeling that Bear will be an amazing mother. So hopefully that one is right. And there'll be an extra precious baby Bear next year.🤞

Bear really just decided she needed an extra year's worth of vacation. She just has a certain flair for the dramatics. Sad news but glad she's healthy and fingers crossed for a baby Bear next spring. ❤️

Just relieved that nature took it course a long time ago, and apart from your initial shock and disappointment, Bear hasn't suffered at all. Please keep us in the know about her, as it keeps it real too and you do such a lovely job teaching others, probably more than you even realise!

so sorry meg, it is extremly sad and dissapointing - at the end of the day we do know there are the risks we take with horses, you never know what might happen! As sad as it is, bear is okay wich is the most important💕thank you for sharing with all of us. With highs come lows, and we have to take everything as it comes. Only a minute into the video, but this is truly tragic what I have heard so far. You are so strong, keep it up ❤️ I remember meeting you at badminton, when my auntie asked you when you are expecting bear. I totally understand that you are going to feel very down, and sad at the moment. I’m glad bear wasn’t in pain from what you know, thank you for being strong enough to even film this. It is really rubbish news, but you really can help it. And as you said, everything has a reason. Let’s just be great full that we have Ettie, definitely the cutest foal I’ve seen. The most obvious thing that comes to mind is that this little gorgeous foal who is insisting on your attention will have more of your time when it comes time to start under saddle vs if the other foal was coming at the same year. It will allow you to learn more and have the next foal to apply those lessons learned. It could be a great blessing to have thos next foal next year. 🙏

The biggest challenges reap the biggest reward. Bear seems to have always been a wonderful challenge and when you do get a foal from her it will be an even bigger high.

Just so Bear is OK! 🙏As disappointing as it is, Ettie looks like she's going to be precocious and entertaining enough for 2! 😍 Amazing how she came over as if to console you and remind you you do have one beautiful miracle to love and appreciate and make lots of videos of for us to enjoy And you and Hobbit will have twice as much time to spoil her. 👍What an empathetic and curious child! 😊Loved watching her zoomies. Please make lots of videos of her playing. Maybe you can get her a little ball to kick around. And yes, please keep us as informed this time around with Bear as you did last time. How unbelievably fortunate you were able to find out it was timed perfectly to inseminate her right away!!! And find a transport company to get Ron's very necessary contribution there in time!!!😀🐎🚚👍 As sad as it is for us humans, after seeing Millie's ordeal Bear might be thinking "Whew , got a year's reprieve !" LOL Prayers for a productive pregnancy and a safe delivery next year for Bear and her foal. And continued good health for Millie and her cheeky little girl. Love and blessings 💗

I had a mare that re-absorbed the foal 3 times so hang in there, when the foal did eventually came it was the most beautiful thing you ever did see. Certainly would like to carry on the journey with Bear, as you say stay positive and you don't have to apologise it wasn't your fault. Chin up Meg you've got Ettie this year to concerntrate on.
