Oh my. The end has me in tears. That day in 2010 I woke up and didn’t know yet. My friend called me and asked if I’d heard Pete had passed. I felt like a family member had died. They were my favorite band. My computer wallpaper, my ringtone. Type O Negative has played a huge part in the soundtrack of my life. I was in my younger days, a girlfriend’s girlfriend. Many fond memories, and indeed there is nothing else like being intimate with someone with candles burning and TON playing. October Rust is my favorite album. Wolf Moon is my favorite song. But I adore so many more. The beginning of Nettie is my absolute favorite start of one of their songs because it showcases the decadent, deep vocal tone of Peter. These Three Things, An Ode to Locksmiths, Haunted, just too many favorites to list them all. Some songs will make you angry and some will make you cry. But you’ll go on a journey with the music. Thank you for putting this video together. It was wonderful. Time to listen to some Type O. RIP Pete.❤️💚✨💫

Loved the video, and it was very informative, it got me to know a side of Type O Negative that I never realised, and it was actually very surprising that you like Type O Negative, specially because the time I heard you say you hated noise tracks it got me thinking that you would never like the band, but what a twist. Good job in honouring Pete and the band ;)

The noise tracks are still frustrating given my preference of not having them, but that's also why Dead Again is my favorite of theirs believe it or not!

I only got into Type 0 in the last couple years but I've become a huge fan and am happy to see this video come out. just thought I'd mention three funny little things i've heard Kenny say in interviews about Type O. 1. When he first heard the songs Pete was working on for the first Type 0 album he told pete that the kids couldn't possibly mosh to this and pete told him "well, they'll have to do something else". 2. bloody kisses was partially written to impress Pete's current girlfriend who was very into goth culture. 3. october rust was written specifically to appeal to strippers. Sorry I can't find the sources of these quotes at the moment. I'm too drunk right now to put that effort in. :)

Great video with heaps of good info. Type O Negative were my one true love when I was 17-18 years old trying to get through the last of high school. Been getting back into them recently so it’s awesome to see a video like this.

This video was so well done thank you. One of my biggest regrets was not seeing them on tour in Nov of 09. I would go next year. I was crushed. This band was my gateway into metal. Years go buy and it was the band that helped me step away from the abuse of my marriage. Then I had a traumatic accident and this was the music that was played and I remember it helped me through the dark. This music helps me pull through what ever dark I am going through. I think of his struggle and his passion to help me keep going. Thank you for putting this together.

Wow that was so many details and several I was unaware of. Gotta love the green filter in there and it reminded me of this Emerald City technique in so many of Baum's Oz stories. Befitting a band with so much majesty, even if there is a ton of irreverence involved. I'm really glad I watched this to find out the many layers of change that happened. Couldn't have a better presenter and I'm grateful for how you ended it. Very well done, indeed.

What a great video! I love TON. They're one of the only bands I can think of who's career spanned over such a long period of time, though each album was as good as the last in their own right. Not a single bad or lack luster album in their catalog. My father passed away in 2009 and I connected with TON's music even more deeply after that. Then, less than a year later, we lost Pete. He will be forever missed. This video is a great tribute and you should be proud for making it. Thanks!
