The funny part is, those skinny humans in the brown robes are chapter serfs, humans that usually due to genetic incompatibility, failed some part of Space Marine initiation. Being Ultramarine serfs, they probably have 20-30 bodies under their belt and went through training that Navy Seals would cringe away from. The flying babies are about the ONLY thing they could take.

The second video is for the Horus Heresy. Happened in 30k when Horus lead half the legions against Big E in rebellion with help from the Chaos gods. Just finished the story this year after about 60 books over 18 years covering it.

Warhammer is a name with multiple franchise with each different universe using some similar element,for exemple the chaos gods share the same name from warhammer 40k to warhammer fantasy (old world) you also see some similar factions like orks, eldar (space elves) from wh40k and high elves from warhammer fantasy... blood bowl is warhammer fantasy but american football with murder Age of sigmar is a prequel to warhammer fantasy... Games like vermintide or total war warhammer 1-2-3 are from warhammer fantasy But games like Deathwing, space marine, dawn of war, are from Wh40k

Our guy on the left would make a good Black Templar. I suspect the fella on the right would make a good Chaplain. The Black Templars are so zealous that their machines of war are known to function of their own accord, leaping into combat and slaughtering the enemy without driver or gunner. While the other Chapters despise the machine’s capability to function this way, the Templars encourage this level of wrath in all of their tools and machinations. The Chaplains are a particular class of Marine. The very height of spiritual and physical might, the Chaplains lead their brothers both in prayer and in battle. Tyranids- how you’ve called the Necromorphs here- function effectively identically, even if the method differs greatly. Subverting and diverting the local culture to heresy through genetic theft and cultural hijacking, it becomes no different than any death/mystery cult. By the time the cult moves to act in rebellion, the planet is already all but lost. In many such cases, the only solution is Exterminatus- though, obviously, the outright destruction of an Emperial world is a hesitant final solution. Next, the Adeptas Sororitas- colloquially called The Sisters of Battle. so to make a space marine u find a suitable kid below the age of 10 on a "death world" whos strong enough to survive, take him to give him the most excruciating training possible to nearly break him, put him on a dicection table to shove SO MANY more organs than the huma body was meant to have, and then the whole armour ritual thing and yet u can lose that to a tyranid in like 2 seconds. this guy has to be the best of the best, CONTINUE being the best of the best, then he NEEDS to be lucky edit: big robot shooting lasers and rockets is a dreadnaught, THAT is a space marine who nearly died but managed to survive just in time to be put back on that dicection table AMPUTATED, connected to said dreadnaught and put back on the battlefield, BLUD STIL GOT FOLDED LIKE AN OMELET

I figured out the Dawn of War cinematic where they charge out of cover and up the hill where they all die. See, it was a timed mission, and he only had about 30 seconds left to get to the objective so he said 'screw it' and went in. Classic RTS. XD

The blue space marines are called Ultramarines, and the Horus Heresy (2nd trailer) happened 10,000 years ago and was when half the space marines left mankind to work with demons. So their are Space Marines and traitor/chaos space Marines

Red helmets are captains but it used to be a sign of heresy to the space marines

To give you a crash course in 40k: -In case it hasn’t been made clear with the trailers, everything in the universe SUCKS. Nobody is a good guy, everyone is a villain to an extent and practically everything is a practice in extremes. Everybody is throwing hands with everyone at any given point in time. - the defacto “main characters” is the Imperium of Man, that is who you, 9 times out of 10, play as in any game. They are led by The Emperor and are heavily religious, HEAVILY xenophobic, and possibly the most varied of the factions. If you have a certain play style or aesthetic you like, there is a faction in the Imperium for you. -The Creatures they are fighting in the first movie are called the Tyranids. The Tyranids are a hive mind of constantly evolving bugs that feed off living matter. - That statement of “I would not wanna live here.” Is the most common sentiment by a majority of the 40k fan base. -The main “enemy” faction are the Chaos, which are demons. Funny that say that you thought all the Marines were on the same side. Sometime in the Imperium, there was an event called the Horus Heresy, which split the Imperium in two metaphorically. Those that left the Imperium joined Chaos and became Chaos Marines. That is why you got Marines fighting Marines. -If you want a fun treat in 40k, look up the Orkz because THAT is a fun time and a riot a minute, ask anyone.

Try actually playing Warhammer 40K: Darktide. Get to damnation difficulty, and you'll have not only an awesome time, but a pretty accurate representation of what this universe is like for the average human.

11:40 Once upon a time Blizzard Entertainment and Games Workshop decided to collaborate to create a computer game. MId-production, they started disagreeing and GW pulled out and "sued" Blizzard to keep them from finishing the game. GW lost, and ... Warcraft ... Was created. As a personal snub to GW, Blizzard then stole from Warhammer again to make Starcraft. This armoring video was ripped directly from Starcraft, but in all fairness, GW did it first, and did it better.

Play in Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War - Soulstorm. A very good game by Warhammer 40,000.

40k is cool to see but the more lore ypu know, the more that you DO NOT want to be in that universe. Lol
