NON-STOP RIDING! THE ULTIMATE SHIMANO STEPS E7000 TEST!
Спорт
We tested the range of the Shimano E7000 motor while stacking clips this week. The best part was getting to sneak in extra laps while @ScottBell and Jarrett were setting up shots! I know some people think ebikes make you lazy, but that’s up to the rider. You can get way more riding in, and a more intense workout than a regular ride if you want to. So, how far did I go?

The consensus: ebikes rule!
Ebikes just gives you so many more laps . Great riding dude on a great trail 💥🙏

I don't hate ebikes but going downhill, 90 percent of this video is downhill, can be done on a normal bike. If have a high quality mtb with good gearing and frame geometry, and you are in shape, then uphill is not a problem. I can ride all day on a normal bike. Downhill doesn't need a battery. I have nothing against emtb. I see mostly downhill riders( 90 percent) on ebikes. I am looking for some videos that show emtb actually using the battery strenuous uphill. I

@@nowayout8773 Embn has some good videos of pretty insane days out on big climbs that you can't do on a regular bike. For a lot of people it takes the sting out of climbing, while getting a good workout, but you can do pretty much twice the amount of laps in the same amount of time. Remember, you can make the climb as hard as you want.. the bikes like the Orbera Rise that weighs 35-40lbs can be riding with the battery off just fine too.. The heavier ebikes def need the battery though because of the extra 10-20lbs..
That was a fun day! E-bikes for da win!

for sure! The rockie talkies were key!
I currently own an Alpine Trail E1 and it’s definitely fun to ride. Only thing is that you need to adjust assist parameters so you can save battery life when using Trail and Boost mode. Could use a bigger battery in the future to get more range! But other than that an amazing ride. I changed brakes (XT) and fork (Bomber Z1 coil)! Great video mate

I’m no expert that deemed to be some great riding, nice one, I have an e7000 and I’m 105kgs and have not had range anxiety yet 👍💪 I’m sure I will get caught out one day soon though

Wow nice! Yea they are very good motors
The Alpine Trail E1 is a hell of a package for 6 grand. I know you've got your own parts on there but the stock build is pretty impressive for anyone looking to get a good E bike for a decent price.

For sure! Such a killer bike.
Love my E1. What fork and handle bar width did you replace stock with?

Me too! PNW range bars (my favorite ever) and an sr suntour Durolux EQ fork.
Who cares what people think. I would GLADLY take an EEB. Can self shuttle and get more laps in! Been looking at the e1 for the overall spec and price. Seems like a no brainer 👍 good video
