It was wonderful to watch a class like that! I liked how singer and teacher pointed out the importance of the process. "There is no perfection, just truth", wow!

I love the way her voice sounds and her characterization of Cherubino but the rhythms needs to be cleaned up ‘ogni donna palpitar’ and the rallantando is excessive. My voice instructor says the same to me that this lady says to her, “Please don’t rewrite Mozart.’ I have trouble with the melody at the section starting with ‘all’ acqua, all’ombra, ai monti’. Anyway, better than I could do! Brava!

Really enjoyed this video as I've been studying this piece myself. Slight note, the singer needs to tie her hair back rather than fuss with it every two minutes so her focus is on her voice and breathing.

Parlo d'amor vegliando, Parlo d'amor sognando, All'acqua, all'ombra, ai monti, Ai fiori, all'erbe, ai fonti, All'eco, all'aria, ai venti.

Very interesting. A quibble. Why do so many people these days pronounce "version" as thought it were qith a g as in "Vergion"? This sloppy pronunciation only started about 15 years ago; it is disappointing hearing it from a music teacher.

If you can't make in the fierce competition in contemporary music you can always parrot random opera teacher and sing the same tunes already done for centuries. And become trained opera soprano number +1.000 leaving the conservatory that year. Learn a couple of roles. tour the world around in the opera bubble sponsored by states around the world.

Why do they have to imitate a bleating goat vibrato, even the teacher seems fine with it.
