basically, the twins when you attack them they can dodge/freeze you, but if you dodge they freeze, and you keep going until they can't dodge anymore or you'll fail the dodge.

Some context: A core mechanic of the game is "Matrix Mode" where you temporarily enter...well, matrix slow-mo if you time your dodge correctly right as it about to hit. You then get free range to punish the enemies as they are slowed to a crawl. The Twins are the very first enemy, and at this point in Global, only enemy that can use Matrix against you. It signified the power scaling that this is the strongest boss you encountered. So when you see Alpha slowed down while the Twins move normally, it them using matrix on you. The new mechanic of counter-matrix thus require you to press dodge as they are about to hit (you are still being slowed), to flip the matrix on them. Any hit on them right after that break them out of the matrix mode.

Honestly any of the solo fights done by Blanc are just good to watch, I recommend Vera vs Radiant Marcher or Lamia, and Alpha vs Radiant Marcher.

The nice thing about PGR is that the devs are freaking masters of optimization. I literally bought the cheapest phone I could find, I don't even remember, it was less than 100 bucks or something and I can run this game on ultra settings, it's actually ridiculous xD OTHER games turn this phone into a literal heater but not PGR xD Also definitely react to Lee Hyperreal Gameplay. You should easily find the boss fight against The Merciful One (Unearthly Projection). Both moteyaba and Rexlent have great videos of that fight^^

Just a little information for everyone who's interested on this game. So basically every latest mid end to flagship phone can run it on highest settings. The game is so damn well optimized to the point that amazed me, even potato phone can experience this great gameplay. + Probably next year, or by the end of this year the same fev of this game will realease an open world rpg game

It can run properly on my 5 year old potato phone and my android music player. Kuro optimized this game to high hell to make sure people of all budget can enjoy it. And I give them my highest respect for that.

This battle slowmo mechanic reminded Jojo Dio fight, where he stopped time, but Jojo is able to see him and move in perfect moment to counter Dio.

As a pgr player I experienced the twin and I can tell you how hard it is to dodge them when they did there slow-time ability 🤣 especially if there in the tower of babel

Definately an interesting way to get introduced to the combat in PGR, mainly because these enemies in particular have a very interesting gimmick... As you can see at 1:54, The Twins can freely move around while Alpha is Frozen in place, this is because The Twins are one of the few bosses (yes, theres more than one) that also have the ability to trigger Matrix and timestop YOU (can't really say why they can trigger matrix, thats heavy spoilers for the story lol) The Unidentified Twins are the main antagonists of Chapter 16 and 17, so yeah, they've already been released in global. What do i mean by this? Well... The global version is 1.3 years behind the Chinese version of the game (CN was the first version of the game that released), they currently have 12 characters that haven't been released in global yet. Either way, every boss/character that gets released in CN will eventually arrive on Global. For example, the character on the video, "Lucia/Alpha: Crimson Weave" has an estimated release date of february 2024 on the global server 👍

The only edition done is for the song to match. lol Everything else is just gameplay.

The Unidentified Twins backstory is that they are beings created by the Punishing Virus (hence the Punishing in the name of the game) to simulate humans / constructs (these are cybernetic bodies where a human's consciousness is transferred to so they can fight stronger and be more resistant to attacks and the virus itself). All constructs in the game have this ability to enter Matrix after dodging and the Twins have learned the same mechanic and they are using it against you in this fight. This is some slight spoiler regarding this particular chapter: you would notice that the first actual story fight against the Twins have you using Lucia Plume. She has this ultimate where she throws a huge blast of ice off on the enemy. When you "finish" this fight in story with Lucia Plume, the Twins, after fighting you for a moment, will have learned how to use Lucia's ultimate and they did, resulting in a typical videogame scripted loss as they fly up into the air and nuke you the same way like in Lucia Plume's ultimate. The virus is constantly learning and evolving.
