The GENOCIDE in Palestine changed our lives. Today I love the Muslim religion, and I love the people of Palestine, for their faith and their strength. I'm so happy to see other people in the same situation as me supporting Gaza. We are all together for a free and independent Palestine.

Islam is not new in the UK we have had it for years and we have seen the various people who converted... Yosef Islam for example. What a sad case he was. If hadn't been rich in the first place he would have had a mental breakdown. You might lose yer job for fasting or just because you no longer fit.

Ramadan is also associated with charity where financially stable Muslims are supposed to give at least 2.5% of their savings to the needy ones. We are not supposed to consume interest which is credited into our account. So even that money will then be credited to poor and needy ones. So Ramadan is a great time to give charity and release extra money to poor ones for the sake of the God of the Universe. Who is the God (Allah)? No one has seen him. He is offcourse not a human being or any creation living or non living. He is only one. And He is the lord of all human beings. So, Ramadan is all about praying the One God alone, charity, patience, and offcourse fasting or abstaining from food, abuses, wrond doings, and arrogance.

Claims that eating after a day of fasting or the altered sleep patterns during Ramadan are inherently harmful overlook the adaptability of the human body and the holistic benefits of these practices. While it’s important to recognize individual differences in health and capacity for fasting, for many, Ramadan represents a time of spiritual reflection, community, and an opportunity to embrace healthier eating and lifestyle habits. As always, those with health concerns should consult with healthcare professionals to tailor these practices to their individual needs.

Actually, it's very good for the mind and the body. Apart from the spiritual, it's about discipline, self discipline. It's between you and God. The body gets a chance to renew and regenerate itself, if you stick to a healthy diet. It proves that less is good. We actually eat more than we need to. We eat through habits not neccesaty. Hence, why we get sick. If more people fasted even twice a week they would be able to cure themselves of many illnesses.

@@mukhumor I know plenty of converts. Yes some leave and some stay. That's ok but you seem to lump all converts experiences into one category, which is simply not true. Who said they have to give up their non-Muslim friends and family? That's just nonsense.

@@ice-cream313 It's not nonsense. I have plenty of anecdotal evidence. Like the woman who married an Algerian who had two children by him and when the novelty of Islam wore off she got bored with it, he headed back to Algeria and took her kids with him. It's not all 'Hamdullillah' and 'Mashallah' dude.

Jesus is the Way, the Truth and the Life, and there is NO other way of salvation. You who call yourselves christians participate in Ramadan, you betray TRUE living GOD Jesus. No coward or adulterer will inherit the Kingdom of God.

You can fast regardless of religion. Did you not hear that they see it as a challenge to build self-discipline. Pretty sure even Jesus would love his followers work on that aspect of themselves. I'm sorry that you grew up as a mountain tortoise. God bless your hollow heart.

@user-jg5ut9xj1e Eating twice at night (big meal) after sun set, then smaller on before dawn is not fasting it is just changing the time of certain regular activity from daytime to nighttime. And you better take a nap sometime during the day to survive.

Challenge yourself with binge eating for a month which is apparently "fasting"? Switching eating times frlm daytime to night time is NOT fasting under any circumstances. Funny how spending on food, hospital admissions for diabetes and dehydration go up in this month which is supposed to be "fasting". Absurd

I think you are mistaken cos not everyone is affluent enough to feast everyday straight. You are looking at the minority, the influencers who are "programmed by consumerism" to show off their iftar. Plus, "switching the timing" don't mean that one won't feel hunger and thirst during the daylight hours. You can't even snack or even drink water. And, it is also about eating with family. I've been through jungle survival during my military days and even then, Ramadan is challenging. It is a challenge to be disciplined. But of course, fat ignoramuses like you and David Wood won't know cos your kind are most likely the kind who still lives with his mummy and has half eaten pizzas all over the floor. Your ignorance is so embarrassing.

they are participate with his own murder according to islam Chapter: The command to fight the people until they say "La ilaha illallah Muhammad Rasul-Allah", and establish Salat, and pay the Zakat, and believe in everything that the prophet (saws) brought. Whoever does that, his life and his wealth are protected except by its right, and his secrets are entrusted to Allah, the most high. Fighting those who withhold Zakat or other than that is one of the duties of Islam and the Imam should be concerned with the Laws of Islam
