Most Muslim can't speak Arabic. But we teach our children all the Arabic alphabets just like A,B,C and so on...how each letter will sound when you read them. It won't take long to learn to read the Qur'an. Speaking Arabic is another thing.

Good question, bad answers. Ancient Arabic is very primitive. Complexity is a bad thing for a language. It stands in the way of clear formulating. English has evolved, is streamlined, precise. English is the language of science. That much words for camel? Highly inefficient. Many different meanings? Obfuscating. Why Arabic? An Arabic epileptical caravan robber in the 7th century just happened to get delusions of grandeur.
