Demon Hunter will always be my favorite. My dad took me to their "Undying" tour when I was 12. Right after walking in, someone walked up and told me how cool my dad was and that theirs would never have taken them to a concert like that. So, shoutout to my dad for being awesome and getting me into metal music back in the early 2000's. PS - I also bought an August Burns Red shirt while I was there and walked up to the guitarist of Becoming the Archetype and proudly told him I bought one of their shirts (oops). 🤘

I used to love Demon Hunter back in the day. Listened to the Triptych a couple weeks ago and it still holds up. Haven't listened to much of them after that album so I hope watching this reaction later gets me wanting to check out more of their later albums. Love the channel btw!

Brother, I didn't like this type of music when I was younger. But my friend one day came over and said that I needed to listen to something, because all of us wanted to have some form of positive Christian music to listen to outside of worship music at church. He said I know you don't like this type of stuff but I want you to just try this, and it happened to be the music video for undying and that album had just come out. Changed honestly the course of my life. We went on to form our own band starting a heavy metal worship service called thy kingdom come and that was almost 20 years ago. The worship service didn't survive after covid, but the band is still going. I will forever be grateful for demon hunter, and they will always be my favorite band.

I remember back in 2017 I was looking for a Christian band that was as heavy as anything else but with lyrical content that I could trust and I stumbled upon Demon Hunter’s “Outlive” album that had just been released. After that, I’ve found so many more amazing Christian metal bands and Demon Hunter is always near the top of my list. “Extremist” is one of my most listened to DH albums.

I and I think most Demon Hunter fans will sit with you and listen to the whole album no matter how many times we have heard it before

I've heard of Demon hunter, i know I've heard a few snippets of their songs before, but never got into them. Now, listening to them here i may check more of them out. I don't think it'll be a go to band for me, but during a long drive on a hot summer day i can see this being amazing.

I like a lot of their older stuff too. Crucified, Jesus Wept, This I know, Someone to Hate, We Don't Care. Their new song Some of Us is a banger, but my all time favourite from them is Beheaded.

I hadn't listened to these songs in awhile, and almost forgot how good the structure and solos were in this album.

I'm not a huge Demon Hunter fan, but the song "On My Side" is one of the best I've ever heard. Heavy, dark, uplifting, melodic. Can't wait to see the Lorna Shore Pain Remains thing you mentioned below. Pain Remains I legitimately made me cry the first time I watched it.

Can you do some black metal? Specifically some atmospheric (burzum, dunkelheit), ambient (lustre, petrichor), dsbm (gris, Il Était Une Forêt) and just classic black metal (mayhem, freezing moon *demo version with dead as vocals*)? If ur not into black metal np, fun videos either way!

I think my favorite song by these guys has to be carry me down. That song is absolutely beautiful And kind of reminds me of that old Atreyu song. I believe it was called the remembrance ballad.

Yall can show them doom metal and heavy metal and they will like it, and if you wanna scare em so some black metal, what is that shit, being a metalhead requires to listen to more genres that just core, idc if you enjoy that but there are more subgenres, it’s annoying af

I'd really like some more nuance in the band choices. I understand you like metalcore, but I mean why not choose some progressive metal? Periphery has some of the most beautiful moments mixed with absolute heaviness. It's a great band to ease people into metal. I mean not just periphery, let's go with Tesseract, Novallo, Twelve Foot Ninja, Monuments, Jack the Joker. So, so much more. Shokran, DGD. Like so many choices but all I see on this channel is breakdown metalcore and its a shame because it could be better. Imo.

@@RazeHellMedia trust me, it's not an insult in the slightest. I don't want to go too far in the weeds here but internet consensus of what I see, most people agree DH is metalcore. All's I'm saying is it would be cool to see someone react to... maybe... the breakdown in the song Satallites by Periphery. Or the amazing Shokran song Firstborn. Or the relentless breakdown in Better Times by Jack the Joker. I mean, tell me if I'm crazy to think thus far the song choices in your videos are relatively the same style of metal.
