why a load is not necessary? how do you define that the superior punch moves 90 mm? I need to simulate a 3 roll bending machine to know the tension in the sheet and the vertical forces on the rolls Thank you very much. This is a very good video

well i set displacement so that i don't need to calculate the load when i set a punch distance 90 mm so it will automatically calculate what ever load required to achieve that hope it helps
can you help me with my mechanism ? i need to simulate the mechanism movement by using nonlinear i guess but have difficulties on setting the fixture and what not.

How about using the load instead of using punch the set with 90mm? Can it be the same result that i can obtain?

You need to apply correct load to get right result
What If I enter the section depth 10mm will there be any difference in results like stress, displacement?

thank you for your tutorial! I have an issue with selecting "non linear" when I create a new simulation study. It's grey and I can't click it. Do you know maybe how I can enable the non linear option?

Either you don't have license for it or you don't install simulation correctly

Can I know rather than doing 90mm downward can solidwork do simulation of 90mm/min downward?

For that kind of simulation I recommend ansys
hi, there is no load so how/why does it move downwards? is gravity on by default?

watch the constraint i applied i have given a distance value that is the reason it is moving downwards
The die is moving aside when it is simulated. Can you help me

Use what ever tool you are comfortable with. Suppose you want write it doesn't matter whether u use pen or pencil you can write with both. In my case i want the results so this is what I did

Why non linear you choose , why not static simulation ??

In static you will not get deflection like these every simulation type has meaning and particular use Static ( when body is at rest) it's name make more sense don't u think
