A few seemingly unexplainable moments in the music video are because this MV is part of the Bangtan Universe -- a fictional storyline that runs through a subset of their music videos. The most beautiful life goes on a story of bts (2023 update ) by the Rice Squad is a great way to get to know their story - context of how they were formed, bits about each member, their discography, and their accomplishments. It puts a lot of things into perspective. It's also cinematic so that's a plus :) And what about live performances so you can see just how good they are? There's (1) Melon Music Awards (MMA) 2018 of Idol and (2) MNET Asia Music Awards (MAMA) 2018 of Fake Love 💜

BTS is a 7 member group who is now in their 10th year with a 350+ track discography largely written and produced by the members themselves conjoined by their inhouse producers. The leader 'RM' has 210+ credits making him the youngest most credited artist in Korea and the rest of the members are not far behind. BTS is known for being extremely profound at articulating what they introspect and composing it into the sound they with their artistic knowledge believe will deliver the emotion of their lyricsm. They began with their roots in hiphop but have experimented their way into currently having above 10+ genres in their discography with the main being hiphop, pop, r&b and electronic, but majority of the time its a fusion of these genres, or their subgenres. Like latin pop, old school hiphop with boom bap, rap rock, dance pop, ballads, emo hiphop, jazz etc. Since they articulate so well, their music is very human oriented adressing extreme mental health issues (all they way from comforting, motivating, to eery delivery with raw mvs that youtube asks for viewers discretion), sociopolitical commentary etc. Their discography shows the growth from school boys to the tribulations of youth, to addressing temptation, to reaching maturity, to loving onself, to finding the core essence of the mind (i work in the field of psychology and i have yet to find an artist that is as profound as bts in accurately potraying psychological themes) to fighting the pandemic to now doing solo albums as each of the bts members complete their mandatory military. They have INCREDIBLE vocals live. Even while dancing. They have a recent live performance of their newest song "take two" on their BangtanTV channel (a song for their fans while they all slowly enlist for their military service requirements and we wait for their return). Their vocals are heavenly!

I have been watching your channel since you posted your reaction to Fairy tail episode 1; and seeing you guys together on one couch is blowing my mind hahhaha P.s. the dance moves when they move their hands around their head is actually to show the saying of: 'see no evil, hear no evil, speak no evil' which is why they cover their eyes, ears and mouth. Fake Love is one of my Fav Songs! I absolutely love this song and the meaning behind it. It's actually not about Romantic Love like Fake Love in a Relationship... It's about the Love to youself. "Face youself in order to Love yourself" which means that if you're not true to yourself, your love won't last forever. The MV also does have a Special but deep meaning. It's part of Bts fictional Story the "BU" (Bts Universe) which also includes many other Music videos, especially from their Albums "The most Beautiful Moment in Life" (short: Hyyh) part 1 and 2 I recommend you to watch "A guide to Bts members: The bangtan 7" by Taylor if you want to know the members and how they started etc :)) 💜

BTS always tries to empower people throughout any though situation. They are top trained to be champion dancer vocalists artists and songwriters. It takes years to be so intence for so long performances. Man that's another level

the mv is so cinematic because bts do transmedia storytelling for their music storyline. so there's a thing called Bangtan Universe(BU) thru which they try to portray what the nusic is trynna tell. it doesnt quite make sense unless you see it chronologically😅 but i dont think its that important to follow it exactly, just vaguely interpreting what they trynna say thru the storyline is enough

These are really fun to sing. Korean is phonetic so you can learn the consonants and vowels. I highly recommend putting in the effort because their songs are so fun to sing and rap to - highly therapeutic and satisfying to sing along in Korean!

we see many songs about fake love but normally, it's more of blaming another for the so-called fake love given to us. however, the reason i adore this song by bts is because it takes a different take. they dig deeper... why do we receive fake love? oh. it's because we showcase our best side to please the object of our affection without realizing we're not being true to ourselves. hence, we lose ourselves. and when we lose ourselves, can we still consider the love we receive real? if we are loved because we're pretending to be someone we're not, then the love we receive can be fake too. in this song about fake love, the blame isn't mainly projected on another. it's more on introspection -- acknowledging what actions we took for the result to be "fake love." and yes, their music videos have so many references to literature, art, etc. this music vid is not an exception. but, this mv is also a part of the bangtan universe (BU). the BU is a fictional storyline that's started since their debut days, mainly shown in their music videos. the most iconic starter is their I NEED U mv (original ver). so, the water, the fire, the chocolate bars, the rose, the windows shutting down and being opened all have meanings and are tied to some of their music videos going back to 2015. ☺️ sorry for rambling... i just got excited. you know how you analyze aot? bts has both a fictional world and their real lives as interesting storylines. analyzing their lyrics and mvs are so much fun. 🥹💜

BTS is really great! For other k-pop groups to listen to I would recommend either Stray Kids or Ateez, they also have really good songs. For Stray Kids songs to start off with either “God’s Menu” or “S-Class” the title song from their recent album 5-Star. Ateez songs I would recommend “Guerrilla” or “Wonderland”

i think i se victims of the jimin effect😉 i think one of you said he have beautiful eyes and plum lips, hehe but it´s hard to hear. but that is Jimin the angles and main dancer and he has a crazy high and sweet voice he sounds like an angel. he was also the guy you pointed out in the end at 10:38. BTS has 7 talented guys each with their own unique talent. they each have a solo album we only missing the last two members but still they have solo songs before their own album.
