It's crazy how JYP has so many groups but only twice and itzy are on this list. Like GOT7, Day6, MissA, Wonder Girls, 2pm, 2am, STRAY KIDS! Even with Stray Kids as the most viewed 4th gen bg, they aren't on this list which is crazy but also such a testament to how popular and consistent twice is!

One of the reasons why some videos have such "low" views is because streaming music videos wasn't as big of a thing as it is now. Older groups with lower views like Infinite and Vixx were very popular when they were active and managed to win awards. Btw they're still famous and well-known to this day

All you have to look is at Big Bang - they used to be the top group after Psy, but now they don't even make the top 10 mvs for YG.

Psy left YG entertainment in 2018 and started his own company PNation in 2019. Twice is not the only group under JYP but they're definitely one of the most popular kpop groups out there thus gathering so many views in their videos. JYP currently has these groups besides Twice that you might have heard of: Stray Kids, Itzy, Nmixx, Day6, 2PM, Xdinary Heroes. But they also had popular groups like GOT7, Wonder Girls (2nd gen girl group, soloist Sunmi was a member), MissA.

TXT, BTS are under bighit entertainment which is under hybe.

Twice is the pillar of JYP

bts and txt are the only groups under bighit music. there's also lee hyun who is a soloist and actually the first artist under the company

@@gathanaranath with enhypen, you can kinda make the argument that they are a 'half-sibling' of bh considering abt half their company is owned by them while lesserafim is a cousin since they are under source music. but bighit labels only has leehyun, bts and txt. trainee a will also be a part once they debut

KARA and KARD are two different groups. T-ara (pronounced "Tiara", like a crown) was one of the most popular girl groups of the 3rd generation. They did many concepts and almost competed with SNSD at one point - but when they were at their peak they fell hard because they had a bullying scandal made up by their anti's, picked up by media and fed to the general public. The witch-hunt was fueled by the mismanagement of their company refusing to clarify and the silence of the "victim" (later found out to actually be a bully and very spoilt) . By the time the truth had come out it was too late and their image was already trashed. Many of the fans are upset over the false accusations they endured during what was to be their peak.

infinite were huge when they were active jdjsj (they’re on a hiatus right now).. it’s just that inspirits were never focused on streaming so their popularity doesn’t really come through in youtube views 😭

I see you got confused with DSP KARA is a girl group that debuted in 2007 and KARD is a mixed group that debuted in 2016/2017

Just some stuff about the companies, the 4 biggest companies are SM, YG, JYPE and Big Hit (technically under HYBE now, which also contains other labels like Pledis and Source Music). During 2nd and 3rd gen Cube was also listed high up there with groups like Beast, 4Minute, BtoB and of course Hyuna, but now they’re more of a second tier company along with other such as Starship, FNC, and RBW (which wasn’t in this video for some reason, but they have Mamamoo, Oneus, and Onewe). FNC had a lot of AOA mvs at the top, but they’re also known for having a lot of bands like FC Island, CN Blue and N Flying, they just don’t get as many yt views. Psy split off from YG to create his own company, and signed Hyuna and Dawn (after they basically got kicked out of Cube for dating) as well as Jessi. All 3 of them recently ended their contracts with P Nation, probably because of creative differences and weren’t a fan of how few promotions they were having. I don’t think they’ve stopped being friends with Psy, but clearly not everything is fun and rainbows when you work with friends in a professional environment.

RBW also has Vromance! They're not popular so I doubt they'll ever be in any top anything but I love their music!!! RBW neglects them though, so much that people who are RBW stans sometimes don't even know about the existence of Vromance.

There's definitely more entertainment companies, but there might've been some sort of criteria when making the list, idk. I know that Happyface entertainment is another one, but basically Dreamcatcher was the only group under them and since they were the only one that got really popular the whole company was renamed "Dreamcatcher Company" XD (I think now they have a couple subsidiary companies) There's a few other smaller companies but that comes to my head first

Kinda same thing with BEAT Interactive, they only have one group, so maybe there was some kind of criteria, or maybe the creator didn't want the video to be too long bc there was no RBW, KQ, or Yuehua.

When infinite we’re in their heyday KZread wasnt as big, so don’t get it confused!! They were quite big at the time.

Fantagio Ent is an acting company but they produced idols too. They only have 2, 1 boy group and 1 girl group. ASTRO and WEKI MEKI. Hello Venus already disbanded 🤧

This is an impressive list! Someone already mentioned AKMU and Sechskies, so I'm gonna add S.E.S and Shinhwa, H.O.T and Fly to the Sky for SM Ent.

Based on this video, I can see that the commentator is new to Kpop, not so familiar with the artists first companies before moving around. I guess Im old now, I started with 2nd Gen, the chaotic era where idols can interact with each other freely and can voice their opinions. Miss the good old days!

I want see YG top 20, like where is BigBang and 2ne1? Ikon's Love Scenerio. Their top10 is 800mln. Jeeeeez. As well, Twice in JYP. They like eat all other groups.

T-ara is a group that really needs exploring. They made some bangers for songs but their early videos were like mini movies sometimes containing 2 parts of a story using 2 different songs. I really enjoyed them.

I'm so sorry but I had such a good chuckle when you got confused with KARD/KARA 😂Those were two separate groups and yes KARD is a "Co-ed" group with two male and two female idols and I would invite you to check them out because whether you vibe to their music or not, you will be hearing something completely new and different in Kpop and really good if I might add. KARA on the other hand is all female idols and they were actually one of the biggest 2nd generation girl groups, competing with the Big 3 girl groups not to mention that back then , their company DSP was basically up there with the Big 3 in terms of influence and fun fact they have been probably the biggest Kpop GG in Japan behind Twice, these girls were HUGE. DSP unfortunately had a sad and drawn out fall from grace though and have recently been acquired by RBW (The company Mamamoo is under). KARA did however reunite for their 15th(?) year anniversary and have come out with new music this past year after many many years of absence.

PSY used to be under YG but left, he then created his own agency, PNATION.

I think last two agencies are here because there are two big actors stars here everyone knows them in kpop, but their groups and agencies are not so big

SM ent are most consistent when it comes to great discography and quality kpop groups(always top vocals and dance line of every generation) EXO and Snsd(girls generation) are their biggest group. But aespa potentially can reach their height as well. They also have NCT, Shinee, Suju etc. (G)i-dle music is top tier for me as well. I love their title tracks

SM is losing their vocal crown on 4th gen though. Also, hard disagree on the dance part. They have some of the best dancers in kpop, like Taemin and Seulgi, but not the overall strongest groups of dancers of their generations.
