EXO don't only have music as a group but subunits like exo cbx (three members, Chen, Baek and xiumin) and exo SC (2 members, Sehun and Chanyeol, the main rappers).

Truly as a New fan of exo i'm really impressed that they earn this second place compared to the lack of comeback and promotion they have recently. The amount of WAIT WE endured. The sentence i heard the most in this fandom IS "please wait us". They worked so hard even if many are in military. they will Come back soon and i TRULY Hope it would be 0T9. It will be my first Time to see them Come back with all of the members. WE ARE ONE❤️❤️

The story of how BTS rose up from the bottom of kpop to become the biggest and most influential group in the world is truly inspiring. Most of the groups in the list are backed by huge labels with connections to music show producers, BTS and their label did not have that privilege. Thanks for this comment because for him to say "most prestigious", if only he knew that BTS came from the smallest and least profitable music label back then. Now, of course Hybe (Big Hit) is definitely profitable. Plus, you can see it in their music video productions from their early songs to the current, compared to the other groups, how much $$ were spent on it.

EXO may have come from SM entertainment the biggest and most legendary record company but just because they are from there doesn't mean they had it easy because they didn't. These guys had to they had to fight over food and when they debuted people was always attacking them and making fun of them because of their concept. People saying they are SM Entertainment first failed group and estimated worst mistake but it was all because of jealousy. And because they didn't win a music show award in their first year. EXO literally had to perform in schools and hospitals and dangerous weather to get popular they even once got paid in a huge bag of rice that's the bottom. Slowly they started working themselves up that their debut album sold half a million and they end up winning the most popular Asian group and Best New Artist later that year. Once again just because you're from a big company doesn't mean you're always going to make it SM head groups that failed. *NCT (Neo Culture Technology)* is under SM Entertainment and currently has 23 members (more coming soon). Their overall concept is to be an "unlimited" group, for instance a new Japanese unit is on the immediate horizon... at the moment though, they are generally split into 3 *fixed* member units *(NCT 127, NCT Dream & WayV),* where the member lineups typically do not change... as well as 1 *non-fixed* unit *(NCT U)* where any number and/or combination of the 23 members can be on any given track, just depending on who fits that particular concept best. Think of it as the 'mix-n-match' unit, the U stands for United. We normally only see this unit during special all-member album eras, of which there have been 3 so far in the 6 years they've been active... there are only 3 mv's where all available members at the time were included as sort of end caps to these special eras. *NCT 127* (the 127 is the longitude of Seoul) title tracks tend to be hype, hard hitting and rap focused. They are the most experimental of the units.They are having a comeback soon on the 16th of September, titled '2 Baddies'. *NCT Dream* started out as a rotational unit of teenagers (ages 14-17 at debut) with a very young sound, the members would "graduate" from the unit once they aged out at 18... however, after the first member (Mark) graduated SM realized it wasn't going to work and abandoned the graduation concept and made it a fixed unit (albeit a flexible one since two of the members are simultaneously in 127). As mentioned, their sound started out as very young, but they've since all grown up so their music has matured as well... their sound now is typically bright and youthful, with the occasional hard hitting experimental title track. *WayV* (acronym for We Are Your Vision) is the Chinese unit. While they live/train in South Korea, they mainly promote in China. The reason they do not carry the NCT moniker is due to political tensions between the two countries. China has become increasingly anti-hallyu, so in order to operate there, SM had to create the appearance of separation between WayV and the main group (they are still every bit a part of NCT though)... had they been able to, they would have been called NCT Vision. Their sound tends to be rather cinematic with a lot of hip hop thrown in and laced with a rock edge. Some recommends to get started; *NCT U* - The 7th Sense (groups debut) *NCT 127* - Kick It *NCT Dream* - Beatbox *WayV* - Turn Back Time (Side quest... SM also has a sort of 'all-star' group, called *SuperM* which is made up of some of the labels most popular male artists, four of whom are from NCT. The group consists of Baekhyun & Kai of *EXO,* Taeyong & Mark of *NCT 127,* Ten & Lucas of *WayV* and Taemin of *SHINee.* They are currently inactive due to two of the members completing their mandatory military enlistment. A good place to start with them is their debut track, called 'Jopping'.)

And the first group to surpassed 100 music show wins I was there for it all and I forever will be here. Haters hate all you want to as long as EXO remains one of the top selling groups that's all that matters to me. We are one forever. Made me chuckle - there were several girl group mv clips in a row and because each group wore mini skirts or shorts so you could see all of their legs, and they all seemed to be dancing in a triangular layout, it looked like one song where one group changed clothing colour in each frame. Funny. Then I noticed that short skirts / shorts, seems to have been a continuous uniform for girl groups throughout the whole period! Mamamoo of course, have their own style. Lots of boy groups also seem to favour dancing in this triangular format too! Interesting seeing them one after the other like this.

The thing is, that wins doesn't say anything about how popular a song is. They show how popular a group is (in south korea), how good the fans are in streaming the videos and buying albums and how high the competition was (e.g.: when exo or bts have a Comeback in the same week, it is hard for other groups to get a win). But this video is good to discover different groups and their style if you are new to kpop.

Like Sticker by NCT wasn't that well received from the fandom as e.g Kick it and it still got way more wins (I love Sticker, no hate here xD)

MOST of the Koreans don't support EXO anymore because one of the members has a wife and a baby. They can't digest the fact that a person can be married and still be an idol. I would say EXO's popularity & fanbase are 95% global and 5% Korean. What's surprising is that EXO haven't had any promotion or Collabs whatsoever overseas after 2018 nor they've released any English songs yet they have managed to gather fans all around the world (That too In the hiatus). If you know the top most groups of k-pop like BTS and blackpink have had collabs with Halsey, Selena Gomez and many more Western artists. SM has always sabotaged EXO many western artists were denied a collab with EXO by SM , EXO also got an invite to perform at Coachella which was also DENIED by SM. As an EXOL it's very frustrating for us how EXO is getting treated from years even though they are considered one of the legendary KPOP groups. Anyways we can only hope that they get better treatment from SM

Because they can't help in their album no members can write self written/composing in their album. Those top 3 to be honest all of them already write/composed/produced in their album.. bp only gain so much attention this 2020 with (the album) with 2 collaboration with foreign artist. Imagine lady gaga/selena gomez they are have millions of followers.. before 2020 bp sales only in 350-400k album sales

These aren't the Grand Prizes like Song of the year, album of the year, Artist of the year etc etc. Which are called 'daesangs' for which BTS has over 61 that was in 2021 but they have even more now. They are the kpop group with the most 'Daesangs' and the most overall awarded Kpop group in the History of Kpop. When they finish their military service they'll be back together in 2025. The only kpop group to sell out Wembley stadium 2 nights in a row in 90minutes. Most worldwide artist can't sell out Wembley Stadium for a single night. Also they are all still breaking records with their continued solo work.(they've always done solo work) Jimin is the only solo Kpop artist to debut at number 1 on the US Billboard charts they which means BTS have done it 7 time's now. No other Kpop artist or group has achieved a Number 1 on the Billboard charts ever. Suga(aka) has just smashed Drakes previous record as a Rapper by selling over 1million copies of his latest Solo album D-Day on it's release day. His other record he's just set is he's the only Rapper ever to do a solo Tour of the US that made 30million US dollars.

Bts is just the most popular group in the world now, not only in the kpop world so it was expected the number 1. Some kpop groups will have success but I think what happened with then it's something it can't be repeat.

You should react to nct specially 127 i know they can be overwhelming with a lot members "NCT" stands for (Neo Culture Technology) their concept is to unlimited members they are divided into 4 subunits which is nct 127,u, dream and wayv. NCT 127 is the main unit, NCT Dream Younger Members Unit, NCT U is the rotational members any members from other subunit can be part of this unit if they fit the vibe or concept for the song, and Lastly WAYV the chinese subunit, also NCT is mostly known for experimental title track i am sure that you will like them just like stray kids. My Reccommendation for them are Cherry Bomb, The 7th Sense, Limitless, Superhuman, Boss, Make a Wish, My First and Last, We Go Up, Take Off, Moonwalk, Favourite, Sticker. My Favourite's on the list are: Red Velvet, Exo, NCT, IKON, Got7, Twice The Reason Why Blackpink landed on the 8th spot is because they only have a few songs, they just started to release a album on 2018 and they just comeback once a year.

I hope EXO comeback can be *history* again... 😊 And also I hope ur channel keep growing more than what u have now... U deserve it my multi-fandom fan.... 👍
