Yeah it's actually kind of wholesome that look he gives scout when he says he's going to put on the date himself appears to be sarcastic to scout but it's actually a genuine look of pride from his father for his son being a man and doing things his way that's how I see it anyway lol

i like the idea, even if, sadly, he never said that. the voice you hear in expiration date is Nolan North, one of the other voice actors. (the HHH, the bombkins, and some other stuff in the game)

The reason Demo wears an eyepatch is because he was a kid when he lost it. His mother made gey a job sweeping this wizard's old castle, and told him not to look into the Bombinomicon, the talking book told him so and to ignore the wizard, and his eye was cursed So, the wizard not wanting the bpy to live with an eye that is cursed, removed it and it now a magical evil eyeball. And the reason why Medic doesn't regrew a new eye is because every time around up to Halloween, it acts normal before in all Hallow's Eve is becomes a monster, medic even admits that it is cursed.

In addition to this, if you look closely when Merasmus is about to remove demos eye, you can see the bombinomicons dialog say that it was so happy it proved Merasmus wrong and finally possessed something, and then states it was fun and returns to the book, implying the eye didn't need to be removed at all.

For you readers out there: Tf2 has a bunch of comics. If you interested in the lore after TF2, i suggest Comic 1-6 (and 7 once they decide to release it)

People think that he's weak, but he has to carry around a fifty pound medpack, while running and can even keep up with scout while on the battlefield. That, and he was able to lift soldier off the ground in the video.

next up: Jungle inferno, mann vs machine and/or end of the line

this was the point where Valve realized they couldn't evolve TF2 and make it a franchise, because at some point they'd have to end it. they were in the works for an animated series airing in Adult Swim, and this was the test run. when they abandoned it, the fan base understood this was meme real state. you should check out the community-created shorts, from The Winglet, Kostamoinen, Nonamesleft, Condoriano and Callegos Y.

It was cancelled because they couldn't handle that Valve worked on Valve time and would get them done when they could (like all valve things, a blessing for the devs to not have crunch but a curse for us consumers where everything gets dropped or cancelled before it reaches our doors), instead of working like a normal animation studio getting things done on a monthly or biweekly schedule.

Fun fact: In-game, to tease this short they added random chance Easter egg would happen with the teleporters. About once every 5 or so teleports (just guessing for now) one of 9 different breads (correlating to the classes) would pop out and fall to the ground. Like most stealth Easter eggs back in the days valve loved us, it caused a bit of a speculation panic. I don't think anyone connected the dots to the canceled adult swim show though.

Scout says 'This never leaves the room.' So, when he told him to say what he said again while the microphone is out, it technically never left the room.

Fun fact: Demoman is the "Black Scottsman" archetype. He is black. He is Scottish. And he is perma-drunk.
