As a Titanfall 2 fan I was super fanboying throughout just off the title alone. Northstar is a titan archetype from the series and Kairi/Valkyrie is the daughter of the legendary titan pilot Viper... also know as the most epic boss in Titanfall 2

So with a number of the seasons of Apex, they have a continuing storyline that gets told. They introduce new characters that bring in their own stories to mix in with interactions with every other champion and they tend to have a series of comics that become accessible during the season of the game. However, these tend to provide more backstory and motivations vs actually showing a story within the Apex games that people play. This character in particular is the daughter of an enemy of a different game within the same universe. Viper is a titan pilot that you face as a boss in the game Titanfall 2. He is a part of a group referred to as the Apex Predators, lead by Blisk, as shown by the older man within the cinematic present. So there are tie-ins to other parts of the overall universe that these games are set in.

Oh no, you picked an odd short to start watching since this episode connects with an entirely different game called titan fall 2. Which is where blisk, viper and vipers mech comes from. Titanfall 2 came out in 2016 and is what inspired Apex legends

Apex has supplementary material in the game and outside. Since season 5 the game started having short stories, 2 fan questions from the season 5 story are answered in twitter posts. Since then there have been comic strips in the game that gives us more insight on the characters.

Apex and Titanfall share the same universe, the story crosses over with the game through in-game comics, and get tied up and finished

the cool thing about when viper jumped onto the titan was he open the flaps and alternated thrusters then used the force of the missles to control pitch all without being in the cockpit also he didnt have a parachute

This is the 2nd best animation in my opinion, it's so well animated I love it. And this animation laps over alot with Titanfall 2 with it's characters, the titans even have introduction videos for each one

Apex Legends is a battle royale multiplayer-shooter game. 60 players all drop into a giant map that slowly shrinks and the last team standing wins (think Hunger Games). Within the game you play as a variety of "Legends", unique characters with their own abilities, personalities, and backstories. Stories from the Outlands are companion pieces for the actual game which typically follow one of these legends and expands their origin stories or goals. There are also season trailers which often tease the continuing narrative of each season... or are just badass. Apex Legends is really cool in the way it weaves narrative into the game itself. The narrative progresses with each Apex season (they function exactly like sport seasons and change several times a year) and throughout, players are able to unlock comics that continue the game's overall narrative. In addition to this, legends have voicelines that players can trigger when they are doing stuff like healing a teamate or saying "thanks". These are context sensitive based on which characters each player is using so if two players are playing Legends that canonically hate each other than if they try to hit the "thanks" button the legend will say "i'm not thanking you... demon". These voice lines evolve and change with each season so, for example: the by-the-book military lady and the cat burglar you saw in the other trailer started out hating each other, then the next season their voicelines became begrudgingly respectful, and now they're just flirting lol Sorry for writing a book :)

Voice actress is Erika Ishii. She also plays the Vampire Annabelle in LA by Night.

It’s a battle royale with little story involved. Characters have voice lines that imply some of things and we get comics every week to further the story. The biggest story things we have in game currently are teasers to the upcoming season and the new character

Viper's core sound affect still gives me goosebumps-

omg.. i recommend you play Before your eyes ! It's a first-person narrative adventure where you control the story-and affect its outcomes-with your real-life blinks. the game is about 1.5 hours long :D even if you don't , keep it up Hannah! love your content :)

Every season is released new legends, which join game, have their own backstory and reasons to join game. Also this video is related to game which came before Apex Legends and that was Titanlfall 2. Titans are that huge robots control by pilots and Viper, her dad, play part in that story of that game. Every season try to expand lore and story about Titanfall universe through legends. Its tall through comics in game, loading screens, small videos from Twitter, interaction between legends and i think recetly was released lore book for Pathfinder, which explore a lot about legends and their past life.

hi, it's me again 😀 let me clear some stuff the year where the flash backs take place is 2210s and there is a war going between the militia and the interstellar manufacturing corporation aka "IMC" Kuben Blisk: the leader of a mercenary group called the Apex predators commonly employed by the IMC and the main anti-protagonist in the Titanfall 2 game Viper: a member of the apex predators and was killed in Titanfall 2 (he was a boss fight) Kairie aka "Valkyrie" : daughter of Viper NorthStar: the titan class used by Viper note: every stories from the outlands trailer tell the back story of one of the playable characters in apex legends some are connected to each other like the "Assimilation Launch Trailer" and "Legacy of a Thief" but most are not but they are all connected to the lore of the game and contribute something to the game

The stories themselves are more like dressing for the actual game, which is a battle royale. All of the cinematics like this, and the season gameplay trailers, are all usually bangers though, so I recommend watching all of them :D

If you liked this, you might want to check out Apex's other "Stories from the Outlands" theyre all great mini-movies that give some backstory to the Legends and you basically dont need any prior knowledge to enjoy them :)

Every season is almost a different story it's more like different storys that are link together in same way shape or form

Viper may have killed countless people for money but thats a solid enough moustache so I forgive him

It is not really necessary to watch stories in the order they are. For example, in this one (story related to season 9) you would notice a small nice detail at the very end if you watched Season 6 trailer but nothing more. They released 2 trailers btw, you watch the first one. The second one is Apex Legends - Legacy Launch Trailer

Valkyrie is the character I main in apex. Shes a ton of fun. Her and pathfinder.

So Valkyrie father was Viper, one of the boss fights in Titanfall 2. Who the player character had to kill.

You should watch all apex cinematic launch trailers, gameplay and etc so you understand what the game is about and why the character change and the previous story of the robot and the girl didn't continue in this one

I recommend you watch The Winglet for Team Fortress 2 content, I think you might enjoy the stories told

Pathfinder, the funny robot, was at the bar when revenant the angry robot killed Lobas parents in the last video you watched. Caustic, the poison guy’s mother is Cryptos foster mother, and Caustic and Crypto hate each other on an unrelated note because of Wattson(and her grandmother built pathfinder)

This is the first I've seen of any story in Apex. However the game is set in the same world as Titanfall 1 & 2 and both are good games as far as their stories.

Yes there are crossovers big time one's

Hannah says "She need therapy guys, she needed it a long time", Hannah you know that for these stories a slightly broken person lore wise makes them interesting. No one wants these character to be some stable, mellow, detached everyday joe and jane, why play regular life :p

It is all linked, but this one is linked to their previous game Titanfall 2 set in the same franchise not linked to apex as much or the other characters part of apex other than the "older man" who has been in every game in the franchise. Titanfall, Titanfall 2 then Apex season after season is the order of the franchise. You should probably watch the season trailers one after the other. Every season also has 2 trailers and the new trailer for this season just came out.

Apex legends is the scion of the Titanfall series of games and takes place in the titanfall universe that is created by Respawn entertainment. The entire universe takes place in the very far future where humanity has fully colonised the Galaxy. The titanfall games themselves focus around the Fronteir War that happened between the IMC(The largest and most powerful corporate conglomerate that weighs more power than most Planetary governments) and the Fronteir Militia(A congregation of planets and people that were abandoned by the IMC in the outer edges of the galaxy and developed their own civilizations). Titanfall 1 didn't have a story exactly since it was a multiplayer exclusive game with matches taking place in the wars most major battles canonically. Titanfall 2 however, did have a story where you play as Rifleman Jack Cooper for the Militia, who was being mentored by a veteran Pilot named Lastimosa (a special soldier that is highly trained in multiple disciplines as well in linking with and operating a titan mech to become an unstoppable force on the battlefield). When a battle on the planet Typhon is lost you and Lastimosa become surrounded by the Apex Predators, a mercenary group of some of the best and most ruthless pilots around led by the games main antagonist Kuben Blisk (the old man that was talking to the girl in the video). Lastimosa is fatally wounded by Blisk in the battle, but before your mentor dies he passes his connection to his titan BT and his pilot gear over to you making you an unofficial pilot, and makes you responsible for completing the mission in discovering what the IMC and Apex Predators are doing on this planet. As this happens you encounter and try to eliminate each member of the Apex Predators, one of which is the girl's dad from the video who went by the callsign Viper. Apex Legends takes place decades after the events of both Titanfall games and after the Fronteir War ends in a stalemate with both sides retreating to regroup and plan for future conflicts. Blisk, after surviving the war, helps to found the Syndicate, a collection of planets in a part of the galaxy called the outlands that is wholly independent from the IMC and the Militia. Blisk not wanting to be bored from the lack of fighting eventually brought back a blood sport that was once popular in the outlands, where combatants would meet in an arena or isolated area and fight to the literal death. Over the decades Bliss would refine the game and add more regulations and systems to make the games more exciting. Eventually the game itself began to become popular as a spectator sport and it soon began to be streamed all across the Galaxy and become to what we know as the Apex games in honour of his old mercenary group. The games limit themselves to only the best of the best now, and so an eclectic group of fighters known a Legends were only allowed in the games with each of them having a various reasons for being in the games be that money, fame, glory, or to seeking secrets lost in the war. Each Legend has a different motivation, a different reason for being in the games and a different and unique fighting style on how to compete in the games themselves. These are the characters you play as in the game and Valkyrie is now the latest addition.

The assassin loves murdering so he joined the blood sport and when loba wanted to get revenge she destroyed a part of ingame map and than she tried to find the source code again because it teleported and needed to work for hammond labs they made a deal she helps they give her the location she needed to recreate ash a very known character in titanfall lore and when she was near killing him again he said he wants to die but she wants him to suffer
