Chris Stapleton is a once-in-a-generation singer and an incredible songwriter, as well.

I saw him perform this at the CMT awards, it was amazing. He's one of those artists that I like better live.

He started as a professional songwriter & wrote songs for many artists. He finally decided to start singing his own. He always tells such amazing stories with his songs

He tried released that song as a single a couple of years before "Tennessee Whiskey". Took it around to different radio stations, but it never took off.

I love how you wonderful ladies listen to the music as if you are trying to float down a lazy stream on a float with no cares and the music is the water feeling the sun as it gently glides over your body and your heart beats in rythm to the thrum of the hummingbird wings as they attack the honeysuckle flowers whose scent has been making you gloriously drunk ......

From London, found Chris Stapleton recently and he's unbelievable. Dunno why that scene isn't as recognised as your hip hop scene is, Townes Van Zandt is ridiculous too.

Hah, good call! A song similar to those in James Bond movies is exactly what I was thinking too.

When you reacted to I Was Wrong, there was a mention that it reminded of a 70’s song. I had the same thought, with a specific song in mind. This one though, has almost a direct line to the 70’s. If you’re not familiar, listen to the O’Jays, and Harold Melvin and the Blue Notes. They have a feel called the Philly sound- strong vocals backed by layered orchestration. Sounds like Chris’ new album will be very diverse.

I really enjoy watching your reactions, ladies. I would suggest you watch his live performances, though. They showcase his voice and his skills on the guitar even more. He is one of those rare artists who sounds even better live than in the studio. Any live performance is worth watching and reacting to. You are missing out. God bless.

The Power of his music. Just before the solo, far left and far right were not very interested and playing on phones. Qhen solo started....they were hooked and everyone started singing along. Lol, loved it.
