@@WheelchairLiving1 That's exactly right! I've been in a chair since 1995 and just try to make the best of it. My right shoulder blew up on me on Christmas Eve of 2020, so I can no longer do those floor transfers. My shoulders start hurting when I see others do them now :)

@@WheelchairLiving1 Unfortunately the damage can't be repaired. Just take my advice and do everything you can to keep all muscles of your shoulders as strong as possible. Like my spinal cord injury, we are learning how to live with my new normal and we are going to make the best of it.

Hey guys I’m a fairly new para. I’m curious as to where the best place is online to buy a new seat cushion for my wheelchair. Probably not the best video to ask this question, but y’all are obviously experienced in that area so I couldn’t pass up on the opportunity lol. Thanks in advance!🤙🏼

Thinking about booking a trip here. How is the overall accessibility of the resort? Is there a beach wheelchair there? Thanks!

The overall accessibility of the resort was pretty good. There is one of the PVC Beach chairs for use. Didn't have luck finding any accessible shuttles for the airport or excursions but was able to make it work. I'll have more videos of the excursions we took. It is a beautiful island. Helicopter transfer was well worth it too.

@wheelchairliving1, one more question lol. Was there room in the helicopter for your chair? I’m curious about that. I have a rigid frame chair that the wheels can come off, but it doesn’t fold of course. Just wondering about that. Thanks for takin the time to answer these questions!

@@1234beers yea, I have a rigid TiLite. They store it in compartments on the back. Just have to take wheels off.
