@@deanbembridge8640 you will know when it needs a ground balance as the machine will perform noisey... on the beach if its still chirpy after a auto gb manually set it to 00 that should help

Some great help for me a beginner, can you use other cordless headsets??

Got my simplex 3 hours ago and this was perfect to watch after turning it on in the garden and it buzzing relentlessly lol perfect 🖒

I'm heading out with my father in law this weekend and he has just bought one of these machines so this really has helped alot. I hope we find some good stuff keep up the good work 👍

Best video On KZread for the simplex. I’ve spend 5 days finding 100% crap. Watched this and went out this morning on the same field and found 32 coins including a hammered and some other cool bits. Thanks a lot for the upload

An excellent, no-nonsense demonstration on how to quickly set up and run a Simplex. I’m excited because I have my new Simplex arriving this afternoon, and I can’t wait to use it. I got a Simplex a couple of weeks ago, love it.. took it out and first hole I dug was a George 111 half penny.. Good start I think. I used a Garrett 300i before that for 3 years nice and easy machine the Simplex :)

after watching this video ,i went back to an old area done before, did not adjust the ground balance, used ears only and found three very old coins, so deep they did not register on depth indicator just tiny pips, thank you sir, i have learnt so much from your channel . ones a cartwheel penny the others hard to tell, now the hard job of cleaning them up.

This is Marshall, really helpful mate thank you sorts me out tomo, I had a great day today I found a George the V 1920 and a Victoria 1861 both half pennies, was well chuffed lol 😂, got all my settings sorted for tomo so thank you!

Another good video Sid , a lot of good pointers for beginners, also glad you pointed out that nearly all machines go mad on full sensitivity...even my deus goes crackers maxxed out.. i think its because a lot of vids have been done on simplex air tests using full sensitivity, people dont realise its not usuable in 'real world' detecting 😎

I love my Simplex. It's my main detector these days.

Just ordered one of these, I'm a total newbie, and one reason I choose this make and model was because alot of reviews said it was a good one to learn and begin with.

Morning mate. Hope you're keeping well and had a good Christmas. Love your channel and advise. I'm still getting used to my machine but think I'm making a mistake with reading the Id's. I'm paying more attention to the Target ID in the centre off the delay. Should I be paying more attention to the top ID numbers. Yesterday I had high numbers on both Id's but just dug up rubbish. I'm getting used to the sound off rubbish but still digging them just in case and to confirm I'm understanding the signals. Any tips would be greatly appreciated. Thanks Simon

I just got my simplex and I’m new to detecting and the machine was going crazy with noises and numbers jumping all over the place I thought it must be malfunctioning or possessed. Glad to know a few simple settings will resolve it. Thanks again.

Another great video. Down to earth. I use the Multi Kruzer but this weekend I have the Equinox 800 to compare. I have tried it once so far but not yet impressed. Will try some different settings and see but I still like the Kruzer

Darrell Hastings once peeps get used to using the simplex they can use no discrimination so it’s opened right up but this tip vid was for people new to simplex 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼 its always best to get a feel for the machine and understand it before trying to run open... 👍🏼👍🏼

New today the simplex sid.had half day off work was that excited mate. on a field I know Roman coins found followed your guidance as second machine but still a way way beginner 🤣. I’ve found some interesting things in 2hrs!!! On your settings advice. Also when the coins found they had some people out to dig what was found. Sure I’ve got the gazebo pegs the used ha ha. No coins mind

Bought one as 3rd detector coil pin broke pal gave me his spare usually use 400i with nel tornado coil have had couple rings n silvers with it only used few times since got at low-down cheers m8 gl n hh Subbed

Got one today 18 coins. Don't believe how stable it was, a few times I had it right open an just a bit of cracking

I'm just researching what detector to buy for my first purchase. My sons and I will be starting from absolute scratch. I have a couple of questions. Would the simplex be a good starter for us? Where is the best place to buy one? And do you think we should get the headphones? The controls look a little confusing, but your videos are an absolute godsend. Thank you for your work here.
