ok i put my old screen back in. And it turned on. So it was the screen i ordered from ebay. I am going to send the company a formal complaint. And hopefully receive my money back or a new screen! Thank you so much for your help and i will be using it again when i get another new screen. Cheers!

Thank you so much for a great great video. after watching your video i was motivated to buy a new screen from the market, which i coundnt fin, so i searched d net and bought it online from china and courtesy ur video, have today, successfully changed the screen and it is working perfect. My nokia X7 looks brand new.

Dude, thank you so much, £10 and half hour later and phone as new. ! note that i did not realise, my new screen did not have the metal frame, once i had taken my old one off the back of the scree, pretty easy, there is a film you take off the new one which covers the adhesive... so there was no separate gluing... hope that makes sense... but anyway...Thanks

This worked great for me. There are other sources, but I got my screen complete with frame from T Mart.com (). The only problem with was while they supplied the 'separator tool' and a screw-driver, then sent a T-6 instead of the T-5. I managed to get T-5 at an automotive store.

the old screen vas so cracked (the phone still worked ) i had to reglue the metal frame too so cannot really put it back :( when you say faulty are you meaning that one can have a defect or is it a quality problem ? bought it on ebay ...thank you so much for all your help !!!

never mind i was able to get the battery out by just prying the phone open enough! I will let it stay out for about 5 minutes and then put it back in. and start putting it back together. I will post an update whether it works or not after this.

I tried both screens now. They both did not not allow it to turn back on. Do you have a video on how to remove the battery? And what if my battery was dead before i put my new screen in? Would that be a reason why it would not turn on? Cause it is not showing that it is charging as well.

i have this phone since last year and today he decided not to recognize any usb connection and keeps telling to connect a usb cable... i think that it got wet and i need to reconnect or change the pin. Any suggestion on how to do it? Thanks

The only probably my phone previously had was a cracked touchscreen, that's it. LCD was fine. Software was fine. I left it cracked for months, just got the money to fix it this week.. Ugh

Ok it still wont turn on. i Tried plugging it into my computer as well as the charger... I should try my old screen disassemble it to the battery again and put my old screen in, Cause then if it works it's a faulty screen from ebay. Right?

I'm having the problem with my touch screen that part of the middle section won't obey commands anymore and I'm stronly considering replacing the screen, but I have a question. Is there a way to be 100% sure that the problem lies with a fault in the digitizer and not some other internal problem? As far as I can tell all my phone's other functions work normally, but I don't want to rush to conclusions

I had a new screen fitted on my nokia x7 and now when I make a call as soon as the phone starts to ring the screen goes black I can not hang up from a call. If someone calls me the screen goes blank again and I cannot answer the call. Can I do something to get it working properly?

sounds like the proximity sensor is not sitting up tight to the new screen. Its hard to explain what needs to be done but it can be fixed. I would take it back to the shop that replaced it

GREAT video, BUT tonight after i had sucessfully change only my broken lcd screen, there is no more response when i touch the screen, cannot unlock....restarted it ....nothing to do. I sometimes had trouble with the screen responding but now it is no longer fonctionnal !!! can someone help?:(

I found out that i cannot unlock the phone, but i can answer calls and the screen works fine when ''there is someone on the line'' (sorry im french) even if they are on hold, but as soon as i hang up the phone locks automaticly and nothing to do... havent found out how to unlock it differently or ''disactivate'' the locking if it is possible.... :l

I can't get the battery out the third screw was stripped! So unless i snap that final screw out i cant get the battery out.

So - I did everything you said here. I took out the LCD and Digitizer and replaced them with new ones and now my phone doesn't turn on. Plugged it into the computer. Nothing. Into the wall. Nothing. Left it plugged in. Nothing. Tried taking out the battery and putting it back together again, nothing. What on earth am I supposed to do? And yes, I followed you video to the T. Please help.
