No exposure lock is a problem with this camera, but if I download 3rd party camera apps I am unable to zoom in so much. Maybe Nokia prevents other apps using the telephoto lens. Any advice ? Shooting videos really needs exposure to be locked.

It can take full screen photos (16:9), but with like all phones, the image resolution drops down to 8Megapixel if you switch to 16:9 from 4:3 Aspect Ratio.

You seem to have activated the timer by mistake. When you are i the camera app, there is a circle icon at the top middle of the screen, you can tap that and turn the timer off.

I for have the Asus Zenfone 5, so can't really say about it. But I have the Asus Zenfone 5Z, and i will be comparing these 2 phones and their cameras in an upcoming videos.

I have both samsung S6 and Nokia 7 plus. In very low light S6 is able to catch some more details than Nokia 7 plus. But in good light Nokia is good with lots of details
