Nokia 6300 4g - Unboxing & Impressions!
My first impressions and an unboxing of the Nokia 6300 4g, after using it for the past week. Overall my first impressions have been pretty positive - this phone is solid, if not rather limited and basic (as you'd expect from a dumb phone).

My first impressions during this unboxing of the Nokia 6300 4g were pretty strong. The phone feels pretty solid despite just being built out of plastic, and it's already survived a few drops. The battery life is also solid, as is the keypad and call quality.
Where the Nokia 6300 4g falls apart a bit is the software - it runs KaiOS, which gives it support for smart apps like Whatsapp, Facebook, Google Maps and more (big plus) but those KaiOS apps are pretty limited in functionality. There's also been a few software glitches that have been annoying.
I'm going to keep playing around with the Nokia 6300 4g in preparation for my full review - keep an eye out for that!

Legend for doing this
Yes, please let the folks know if you ever suffer double input by just a single push of button. Because I quickly had this issue and try to get used to it until I can't. I no longer use this device now.

Will do; it's terrible to hear it happened to you so soon. How long did it take for it to show up for you? Like a few months?
FYI Whatsapp is no more on KaiOS
Why not use a USB C?! Also 2mp camera should be the minimum on a dumb phone.

Yeah :sigh: the Nokia 235 has both of those things, unfortunately the Nokia 6300 4g missed out on that stuff
Nice video! Just subbed. Have you taken a look at the F1 horizon bluebird? It's the one i was considering purchasing. I'd also love a size comparison with these compared to a modern iphone, that would be nice to have.

Why don't they make an actual DUMB phone with Java OS that doesn't support Whatsapp or other bs, just pure old school goodness. I will never spend money for half-smart phones

Fair call - the newer Nokia phones like the Nokia 235 kinda fit that description though - They run S30+ instead of KaiOS which is much more stripped down

I know right :sigh: The new Nokia dumbphones have USB-C, unfortunately this one is a bit older so doesn't get it
Honestly, every KaiOS phone coming from Nokia has been a laggy mess same thing from literary any other phone brand dont have this for some reason

Huh that's unfortunate. This is the only KaiOS Nokia phone i've used so far, and I saw that their newer phones run S30+ so I guess KaiOS isn't really a think on Nokia's now anyway
