Hey its a great video......but you forget to put bk the cover for the flex cable

I have changed 5 times after I dropped my phone at the first time. Please note, this will never be the same again. no matter if you change the display it will always be shit. The glue automatically comes off after couple of months and then the display start causing issues such as some part of the display don't work and stuff. I highly command people to buy a new phone if the break the original display.

Glueing things back together is always a fucking mess. Avoid at any cost. I just messed up mine.

@@1988UB I steadied my hand and got the glue on just the right spot all the way around. You’ll want to go more towards the outside edges because if it gets on the outside you can remove it with some acetone on a qtip or scrape it off and it won’t damage anything.

@@1988UB also mine was a bit different and I had to remove the back and the battery. It’s still pretty simple though.

Thanks for the video but you missed the retaining plate for the ribbon/mine is different. Otherwise simple 👍

It is possible to replace the digitizer, but that's really difficult. You need special tools and skills. It's so much easier to just buy a whole new display. You can buy them for cheap on AliExpress.
