Got mine a few days ago, super happy with it! I use my smartphone at home over the wifi, and go outside into the real world with this 3210 4G. (Sweden)

That's what I do. My old smartphone is used as a mini tablet on WiFi. When I'm out Id rather concentrate on the real world so take my Nokia dumb phone.

I use a 2017 2G 3310 as my main phone and a tablet for the internet.

Thank you for your video. My pre-order of the 3210 was cancelled by the shopping app so I'm now looking at 325 4g since internally it's the same. One thing that 325 I wish that it would have is the island keys.

Nokia should let their feature phones run Linux.

The Nokia 8110 or 6300 international versions should work in Chile and have Whatsapp and Google Maps.

These callback phones seem to repeat the issues of last good Nokia phones and refuse to innovate, no functions for today like photographing documents or displaying tickets, because they stick to identical out-of-date features like they were the rotary phone nostalgia, including under 3 Mpix camera.

Because ThreadX doesn't support hotspot yet. It's a limitation of the OS

I think the original HMD banana phone did have a hotspot feature and indeed did overheat quite a bit.

for me the big change is hmd / nokia moving to use usb type-c. finally.

Depends on where you live, in Norway, you MUST have a smartphone, because everything has gone digital, health, taxes, banks, recipies, the government, social media, GPS, connecting to your car, or house, whatever. And I love it, much easier now

Does the new 3210 have notes?

It looks like HMD will not launch any new feature phones anymore in the US.

Only the Asian versions have Cloud Apps. Look at my commentary towards the end. I was able to get a European version, but the Cloud apps only come in Asian regions as far as I've been told

They couldhave given the option though. Having whatsapp means you cancommunicate in Europe, be in Groups for your job, your kids, your friends etc. Dont underestimate it cause you dont need it. The real world is outside butnot everyone wants just calls and messages.

I've got one of two in Poland, bcs they don't sell it at PL now. If someone would like to see it it Polish feel free to look at my movies :)

If it supported WhatsApp it's be basically perfect, in my region though the Nokia 235 4G actually works on 4G, so I'd go that way (again, no WhatsApp, which is a dealbreaker).

Can the Nokia 3210 4G be used in the same way as Nokia 2730c ？

How's the display quality? Because the display on 215/225 is quite terrible. The viewing angle and reflection kills it.

As I see it, this is a good "emergency phone" only. If you wanna live at least almost a normal life you need iPhone or Android for the bank apps, apps to identify yourself, blood sugar measurment "puck" reader apps (if you got Diabetes and the healthcare give you that) and so on. And all these livestream apps. 3210 4G got no "selfie cam" for photos and video calls? Nokia 3210 4G is like travel 20 years back in time. So why 4G? Because all contries will take down 2G and 3G networks coming years. You will need a phone with 4G. Your older phones with only 2G/3G will NOT stop work but these phones will be disconnected forever from the cellular networks. I would never ever wanna recommend 3210 4G as a "daily driver". Same thing for all similar phones. But it might be good to have as an emergency phone.

All these "nokia" devices are unuseful today. I ve got a simple 130 for txt call radio and alarm.. It s enough if not internet available, the os is dated.

Unless it can withstand a nuclear blast and has a battery that last two centuries per charge, I'm not buying it.

Well, but how about typing, let’s say in Ukrainian, or say Hindu, or Georgian?
