Nokia 2.4 Unboxing | £99 Budget Phone | Full Tour, Gaming & Camera Test
Ғылым және технология
Unboxing the Nokia 2.4, HMD's fresh £99 budget smartphone, with a tour of the specs plus a camera test and gaming on Call of Duty Mobile. It's rare to find a phone under £100 so this is by default one of the best of 2020. And although it's unsurprisingly limited, the Nokia 2.4 will suit anyone after simple smartphone functionality on a tight budget.
Performance is basic with a Mediatek Helio P22 on board, plus just 2GB of RAM. You can browse the web, check social etc no problem, but gaming online is definitely an uphill struggle.
Likewise, the 6.5-inch IPS screen is okay for reading websites and watching KZread, but video does look quite grainy with the HD Plus display. And on top brightness, the Nokia 2.4 is far from eye-searing.
The dual lens rear camera is also best used for simple shareable snaps, rather than capturing life-long memories. But you can shoot 1080p video and get some portrait or night photos on the go.
The Nokia 2.4's 4500mAh battery will also be strong enough to keep you powered up for a full day or two. Plus the stock Android experience is as lovable as eve, with two years of OS updates and three for security, guaranteed.
So that's my unboxing and hands-on review of the Nokia 2.4, one of the best (and only) budget options under £100. Let me know your thoughts below!

Just checked with HMD and apparently the Nokia 2.4 doesn't support NFC - apologies for the confusion, the setup process said it supported Google Pay, but you can't use this for contactless payments.

Chris, another good review. Nokia has never been a big player in the US, in the smartphone era. Looks perfectly good for a budget phone. I hate to say this, but not everyone cares about gaming. You will not be buying this phone for gaming, anyway. The audio was decent, the camera, fine. A good solid phone, this would be a good solid second or third phone for the family. Would like to see more from Nokia in the USA. Stay safe, my best to your family.

Interesting phone and the review was well up to your expected standard. I know that many manufacturers try to provide a phone for every market but Nokia is really going ballistic. They are expected to roll out 2 super feature phones shortly running Kaios. I doubt they can be noticeably cheaper than this so are they splitting their market? Strange! Keep up the good work and stay safe and (relatively) sane.
Just seen this video, big fan of your content, just seen this and think it's an awesome first phone for my son who is still in school.

Great Review and I really like these budget options. They make perfect sense in markets where competition is a problem. If You realise it's only 99, it packs all the esentials. Even a fingerprint scanner which is not often offered for this price. By the way, I just subscribe cause I realise I always watch your videos! Keep it on!!

Hi, my finger print scanner is not working on my Nokia 2.4 despite even factory resetting the phone. What can I do.
Hello, Thank you for your very helpful video. I just want to ask maybe you know too of how can I fix the vibration on the camera app? because every time I'm switching to different mode like night, portrait, video or capture photo it vibrates. I tried turning off all the vibration on the settings but still not fix it :'( . I'm really clueless now.
Ever since using a Nokia 7.1 for bit, I like to see what Nokia is up to. I can't hang with a Helio P22, but for $100 there's some appealing features here.

Watching this review it makes me take a good hard look at my $1000 iPhone and $800 Samsung S21 and wonder why I spent all that money.
