Creepy liquid is most certainly a reference to any of the creeper world games, where you have to fight against a living purple liquid that spreads itself around.

I've also found an always cast chaotic transmutation wand and it seems there's a specific pool of possible outcomes. If memory serves it's always water, blood, lava, any of the potions, diamond, brass, snow, mystery fungus, or liquid fungus. I've never gotten midas or LC or any of the other many, many elements.

@@Duke-RNukem Yeah but it's strange that I've NEVER gotten sand, dirt, metal, etc. There might be a way to look into the code but I'm fairly sure there's a pre-programmed pool of possible outcomes and not just ANY material.

Stuff like this is why I love Noita.

They missed an opportunity to call it healium rather than healthium

I have a feeling the game would just lag a lot and then crash... I’ve seen someone use an always cast oil trail wand with bouncing projectiles and it got really messy...

@@academicninja8532 i think it depends on specs, myself i had a water spell on a wand and I managed to flood a big part of the coal mines and it was about fine. I can't tell however if I had some electricity going in but I doubt it would create much issues performance-wise

Even though healthium is already extremely rare, I’ve actually found a flask of lively concoction. I was new to the game though, had no idea what it was and assumed it was common. I died in the mines on that save.

just 100h into the game and already found an always cast circle of vigor wand twice in the mines so i guess thats a less rare option. Both were unlucky runs were i couldnt find a single trigger/timer spell so i just survived everything till the final boss just to not be able to damage him more than the circles would heal him. or he heals himself idk either way i just had to commit suicide in the lava without defeating him which felt terrible when youve got the hp to explore the first 3 biomes thoroughly just to find nothing of use(that i could recognise, im sure there was something possible that i lacked the knowledge to create).

I was playing once, and when I entered the first holy mountain, it started to fill with Creepy Liquid. I then drowned, and was very confused. I have no clue how it triggered, but it did

The fungus, fire, and creepy liquid interaction reeeeeally reminds me of the oldschool pixel physics simulators that inspired Noita. Moreso than anything else in the game imo. Really cool to see.

There's so much to explore that I'm kind of annoyed by how limited the inventory is.

Most of the materials can be generated eventually, and for the random ones, (LC and DoM) them being technically impossible due to needing esoteric ingredients is rare. Fire Chaotic Transmutation into a pit for long enough and you'll find weird shit getting made.

I think creepy Liquid might be a refrence to the creeper world series

I found a flask of something called corrupted stone, it sprays this purple stone that slowly converted the ground around it into more of itself, it also sprouted tree or bush like structures of the same material. Is this unobtainable as well?

I found that Mystery fungus all over the final stage. You get harmony with magic buff every time, I believe.

Creepy Liquid fill the world, then use the fungus, then turn the world to gold, and you'll just destroy everything. Then the alien overlords can harvest the extremely dense sphere of solid gold in space.

Fun fact, gold is actually quite common in space. It's only rare on Earth because it's dense and tends to fall very deep on primordial, molten planets. There's probably quite a lot of it deep in the crust and in the mantle. Asteroids don't have this gravity problem, and it's comparatively quite easy to find in space.

That's the current goal of a lab at CERN in France, they want to contain antimatter long enough to bring it through a tunnel to another lab building, which is across the street. I just got this game recently, and my brain kinda melted after seeing the creepy liquid from 5:44 to 6:12

I just absolutely love how there is so much packed into this game that you, the player, have no clue about. You have to learn how to truly be an explorer.. a pioneer, of sorts, to really appreciate this game. There’s so many secrets in Noita.. so much weird shit.. so many puzzles, riddles, and mysteries that the internet has barely scratched the surface of uncovering, and I absolutely love it. It’s an aspect that I have never seen in a game before.

Idk if it matters now, but I found a flask of creepy liquid in a great treasure chest

Perhaps the sand cave would be a good hiding spot for the brick wall? I have a feeling they’re going to use it as something other than a shortcut to the boss.

So there are two possibilities, the boring one first... it is a place holder so they can see new materials or potions are working due to how quickly it expands. If it is in game, try angering the gods. Based on how the material works we can use this to formulate how these can be created. I believe there is a way to transmute both solids and liquids in this game. Those spells are normally limited but so is Chaotic Polymorphine and you can be punished for it. Physical objects give you Brick, it seems useless at first but fire is a fairly common thing. Most people would use it extensively to get through the side of the world... or well over 100 times. Then you have to blow it up to get past... which makes fire. Angering the gods could make any transmutation of solids to Brick and Liquids to Creeping Liquids as punishment. Or here is a much more interesting one, a punishment for doing TOO MUCH alchemy as this is "technically" an issue and game breaking with how powerful some potions are. Most alchemy produces a powder or liquid, so we can see how the all consume liquid would be a good punishment here. That being said there is 2 places it can logically exist in a future update if not now. Sky world and Hell world. Going up to high? There is no more air. Going down to low? The air is sulfer or something typically "hell" like. Otherwise it doesn't do anything but effectively kill a world unless you set up for it. That being said, it existing in sky wouldn't be good as something bumping the liquid causes a pixel to shoot down even if there was no gravity up there. This leaves me guessing it is in hell, and it makes sense then because fire hits brick often which in turn causes liquid often, which in turn means the liquid has a use very quickly... hell based alchemy and mechanics. It also mirrors the void fluid from the sky. Void fluid deletes all, the opposite fills in all. This is just a theory, but it could work... now I'm probably gonna play Noita again since I haven't in a long time.

Today I was able to find Uryne in seed 2067546394 I haven't found any utility she could give so far. It's in the treasure right at the entrance to coal pits

I had found a brick wall potion in one of my playthroughs, but I just thought it was another neat new thing and I didn't bother to experiment or anything. I just threw it at a monster and went on my way. If only I knew...

I am reporting to have found a JAR of URINE on the first floor (Mines)!!! This is *not* a joke ,and as far as I know,its the only JAR item in the game,the others all being flasks (with the special exception of Coctails)

That's actually something I didn't even try. I'll check it out. Or you can, since I'm working on something else currently. On that latest Noita video I posted, I have a seed in the video where you can find another Urine Jar down and to the left of the entrance of the mines, in a small wooden square with a shotgun hiisi.

What about accelratium?

One use I could see for creepy liquid is if you get the breathless perk, empty a flask and fill it with the liquid, then you could drown entire levels of enemies in a "passive" way

You can technically still use polymorphyne to reach high places, it's just much more limited. Polymorph yourself and stand still for 5 seconds, then start flying slowly so you transform back mid-air with full flight energy. You can use this to reach the altar and gain easy access to the pyramid boss room if you have no better means.

@@gaminggeckos4388 Transforming from polymorph resets your character entirely. Your hover meter is full, you are clean from all stains and debuffs, and you automatically hold the 1st wand in your bar regardless of which wand you held before transforming. (Yes, that last bit did get me killed once)

What happens if you use the purification powder on void liquid?

Now I want to see how bad things get if you release creepy liquid and then do one of the turn everything to gold endings.

Can you make a another video on liquids? Im interested in magical liquid, it is pretty much ghost blood. Evaporates very fast, and from what ive seen doesnt stain the player. Has any one messed with magical liquid?

I only put things in videos if there's a reason to, i.e. if the liquid does something or has a cool interaction. Otherwise, it's just a waste. Magical Liquid is cool, but it's purely ghost blood and that's it. It doesn't have any uses at all - no reactions with any other materials. If that changes, then I'll put it in a video :)

Sooo apparently Noita is Finnish for the word Witch yup a name so cool and so satisfying to say is just Witch

Really hoping they add a sandbox mode eventually. It would be fun to screw around with all of these reactions and materials without having to use mods

The other day i were doing a run in Noita and the creepy liquid appeared from nowhere in fungus cavern, i dont know what triggered it and didnt even knew the liquid exist i just died fast trying to escape from it while it covered every hallway

once did creepy liquid randomly end my run with a op wand, i was on my way up and i think in the jungle did the creep liquid came from nowhere and followed me all the way up 'til the snow biom cause i dug through with acid. then i died in the wand room from it where i didn't dig through

I found 'weird fungus' in the underground cave. Is it still uncommon? Grabbed a screenshot.

I'll be honest, if there is a solid version of creepy liquid I'm almost entirely certain that it's hidden SOMEWHERE.

Probably not going to happen, but I hope that Nolla games spends years or even decades adding stuff to this game so that to 100% this game, it would take days of work

Is the teleport wand the only way to fly now?

I am under the impression that the creepy liquid is a reference to the original inspiration for the game, Powdergame from the website Danball. Also, how does he get the unobtainable items? I was looking for a way to make a 'creative mode' experience where I can simply test and screw with the game's physics, but I dont know how

If it's unobtaainable, then how did you get it? I would love to be able to mess around with this type of stuff myself!

There are no hacks only mods but yes it was probably a start with mod there are also mods called "cheatgui" and "sandbox menu" I recommend getting both if you are in the discord server just look in the mod releases channel and search those names

THAT is the absolute genius of Noita's gameplay design. It's so random and ruthless, you're sometimes scared to try things out in case you die a miserable death and lose a couple of hours of grinding. In the era of datamining everything and knowing every single thing about games that haven't even released yet, Noita is an absolute indie gem I simply cannot put down. I'll be playing this for many many years to come, i'll always be returning to it to see what's new.

That mod came out after I had already used all the life crystals I could. So I didn't have to worry about that. If it's bothering you, just disable that mod and then re-enable it afterwards. It's a mod meant to make things a lot more difficult, so the bosses and enemies are all a lot more difficult than anything else around their progression. There may be an option in the config for it to turn off that mechanic (requiring Slinter Wood to be defeated before being able to use life crystals.)

Ok, i will give you a tutorial that helped me to quickly understand the game enough so if i wont get crazy (like getting gunpowder trial and explosion immunity, yep this ends badly) i can get very far. So here it comes the ultimate Noita guide: Git Gut.

I dont understand. So when brick wall burns, it makes creepy liqid, and creepy fungus transmutates it into more of itself and burns. But where does creeping liqid come from then? Or does liqid reprodus faster than fungus?

The "brick wall" is called: Creepy Liquid Emitter. When that burns, it makes Creepy Liquid. Having the fungus nearby causes ANY liquid nearby to turn into more fungus. Since there's fire all around, the fungus burns quickly, making more fire. Then the brick wall burns more and makes more Creepy Liquid. It's like an endless cycle - as long as there is one pixel of "brick wall" left, it will continue to produce Creepy Liquid in the presence of fire.

I got purifying powder as my base potion once,i threw it not knowing what it does and died seconds later

Literally got a flask of purificibg powder on my 4th run ever and i just didnt understanf what it did so i threw it away 😂😂
