Deep Down is centered around one simple acid riff that came from Thijs’s modular. It starts off hypnotic, repetitive and tunneling, then looks for a couple side doors and enters them, but they all lead back, deeper down into the tunnel…

I love how round and that wood sounding procussion is , then the grain comes in ! The ending is just so perfect *SOOO DAMN GOOD!!!*
Why do they always have such a bad sound quality? ... I ask myself when I listen to other artists after listening to a Noisia track
@Fallenstar37

Bad sound quality ? The bass is so deep in here. Probably you have wrong hardware or you need to workout your equalizer. I bet if you hear this live, your heart will pop out from your body

Haha, you almost tricked me!
the amount of talent thats required to make such a repetitive sound interesting is immense
Possibly on of my favourite tracks to be released this year. Honestly can't enough of it. That second crossover in the first phrase gets me so hyped up.
I'm really digging the Universal Project / Raiden vibe in this one. Might be the best track Phace has done in years.
@shornoMALONEY

Now you mention it, it has the same vibe as Universal Project - Vessel (which was the flip of Pacman Ram Trilogy remix if I remember right). Great tune kzread.info/dash/bejne/p66nrdehidi1fto.html
THAT ACID OVERFLOW SLOWLY BUILDING UP it’s the highlight of the track for me. 1:25

i want to go one day - my nanna is Dutch, so having Noisia there too is just a bonus :p
What a sick roller this is... beautiful new take on old-skool neuro. It's cool how they switch up the drum programming between the 1st and 2nd drops, the kick drum teases you at first, dropping behind and in front by 8ths/16ths, which gives the tune a lovely techy vibe. Then on the 2nd drop it falls right on the beat, making you just wanna headbang to it :D And the production, well Noisia and Phace say no more. Pefection.
OMG !!!! how have I only just heard this absolute stomper !!!!!!!!!
Wellcome to the Offkey Recordings! Raiden will be proud of this technoid madness!
That little ‘welp’ that comes in on the left is so perfect
I never want this song to end, but like its creators we should cherish its time played

Agreed. Noisia songs are always to be cherished as they are rarely longer than 5 mintues
Drums, Basses, stereo field, arrangement, sound design, mixdown, .. everything is mad here 👀
Noisia and Phace, Gods of Neurofunk!!
I really like how ''open'' the first drop sounds.
THIS IS A KILLER! killer killer killer! So full of texture & sidechain that my brain tell me to shut down my 24/7 searching for more pleasures on zoombietube! Well done! ♥

Amazing as always :D There's just so much to listen to, always interesting. Rhythm changes, sounds morphing, space changes etc etc. If i would try to do the same thing it would be boring a.f. To me this is more than just music, it makes me listen to things more as if was art of some sort if that makes sense.

good tune! eahh
yes yes yes!
Definitely not as "eccentric" as Dzjengis but it's still a banger, love how the drop gradually gets more gritty and angry once the Noisia percussion kicks in.

Techstep. Am I incorrect?
@SAHOYT71013
5 жыл бұрын
@@telephonontv so other people may disagree, and I don't mean to sound like a twat but I love both of them and will try to articulate their differences below. I don't think Phace & Noisia set out to make this track thinking "we're gonna make techno dnb", it's just the closest release to that style that I've heard in years. Techstep was where dnb started to move away from sounding like jungle, and people focused on sound design. To that end, its name referred to a vague techno influence and the use of -step with every dnb subgenre around that time. In the mid-late 90's, it was cutting edge shit, No U-Turn Recs, Dom & Roland and Fierce's material, early Virus Recordings. Ed Rush & Optical pioneered that sound as the precursor to neurofunk. Technoid dnb describes a much, much more direct techno influence, like more mechanical and droning. Konflict were the first to do anything like that around '99-'01, IMHO it was really solidified by Raiden, Cause4Concern, and The Sect in the mid 00's. Look up The Firm LP, that's a compilation for Raiden's record label Offkey.
