I like the idea that during the whole fight, Sans wasn't even fighting back. He was just cleaning while Noel tried to blast him with spells, then the mop gets frozen. So he clocks out and actually fights, ending the fight almost instantly.

sans’ dialogue and character is on point, it literally feels canon, the dialogue between noelle and sans is comedic too. ending was pretty unexpected aswell

I think the "familiarity" he's referring to might be related to Sans having fought someone before (i.e. Frisk in the Undertale universe) - which would be similar to Toriel in Undertale remembering your favourite pie flavour or seeing a ghost in battle, after you do a Reset.

The idea of sans stuffing Noelles face with cleaner towels, and sprayed her like you would with a table (Not like a power cleaner) is too perfect.

i like the idea of the player corrupting noelle to begin a snowgrave route on real people, but sans ends up being her first opponent perhaps thinking that he has no real allies so he would be easily forgettable if he died, and he's just casually snapping her out of it while she genuinely is trying to kill sans not realizing what that entails.

Well, if this was canonical, Noelle wouldn't be able to use magic and fight against Sans, since they're not in the Dark World. So that means, Noelle couldn't have frozen the town. But, in a hypothetical scenario which Noelle fight Sans in a battle with no magic, Noelle has the HP and height advantage. But, given that this is Sans we're talking about, he'd most probably do what he's doing in this video, dodging and attacking a teenage deer with basic cleaning tools and military weaponry advertised as cleaning supplies.

Just because he’s a janitor now and papyrus is (probably) not dead, I like how sans instead of punishing noelle with his own magic just only fights noelle with janitorial equipment (u til the end). I also like how he just pauses for a moment just because he’s lazy and isn’t that much being aggressive on her. It’s also kind of funny that noelle is now somewhat evil and sans is just being casual with his time and references kitchen gun and toilet gernade. Really enjoyed this video

Whoever made this Sans fight animation, props on them. This is a type of sans-sational thing for him to do. Like I mean, the animating takes up a lot of spine but the fact sans used cleaning supplies instead of using his blasters and bones really tickled my funny bone. I'm pretty sure they even used his favourite instrument for megalovania. The trombone! Anyways I enjoyed this fight.

I have a theory that deltarune battles in a dark world will be like normal deltarune battles, but if there is a battle in the light world, the battle looks like an undertale battle, but with deltarune mechanics ( something similar to the battles of deltatraveler )

I doubt magic works in the Deltarune light world though. Though I agree with the battle interface might look like Undertale when in the light world.

i like to think this happens on a daily basis. the player keeps telling noelle to kill sans and whenever she goes in the store he just hits her with a broom until she leaves.

Oh my god, Sans uses Deric Bums toilet grenades and a kitchen gun. I was quoting this at work this evening when wiping down the bar table.

the fact that one of his attacks is a full-on kitchen gun reference is comedy gold

@mahoushoujo yeah but that wouldn't be very fun if he just died in one shot yeah i get it you're gonna say "but the genocide route isn't supposed to be fun" but you see as far as we know the weird route for each chapter is not going to have us kill EVERYONE which is not true genocide but its close, plus, if the """""genocide""""" route didn't have anything challenging, it just wouldn't be even anything close to fun, it'd be flat out boring, which is why the spamton NEO boss exists at the end of snowgrave

This is such an original fight its great. I love the dialouge between the two as well

the toilet grenades were the best thing ever, props to the animator, this is so creative and the humor is on point

So that's the secret for so much power. The art of low effort cleaning, just like Master Miyagi.

Honestly this seems very accurate since on the surface the stats and everything else becomes like undertale so if we fought on the surface it would probably be like in the undertale style

Oh god no!

Yeah we actually don't know if the monsters in Deltarune can use magic so Sans using his Janitorial stuff to attack you makes sense. But I like how it also hints at the fact that there is gaster blasters possibly there to back Sans' attack

I loved the kitchen gun and toilet grenade references. Absolutely legendary.

The fact Sans has Toilet Grenades made me laugh for a moment

i ADORE noelle's dialogue and reactions. her screaming at the grenades and making her crazy face when sans pulls out the gun. it's wonderful

The way sans just let noelle fight until she actually got close to killing him, and he then just kills her in less than 5 seconds

I honestly really like the idea that the light world is the Undertale battle system

Crazy how that battle went on from 9 am to 5 pm, sans fr just joked around for 8 hours

the fact that they added kitchen gun and toilet grenade is hilarious
