Noe Bushi | Rhythm of The Peasant Soldiers (Shogunate troops song)

Ойын-сауық

Noe Bushi is a folk song sung in Mishima City, Shizuoka Prefecture and is well known throughout Japan. There is a call of Noe in the song. There are also dances to the tune of songs, and elementary schools students in Mishima City learn to dance. Similar songs are found throughout the country, and these are called Noge Bushi. Among these, it is said that the "Noge Festival" of Yokohama City, which begins at the bakumatsu period (end of tokugawa shogunate), is the origin. However, it is said that it was made by farmers from Mishima village that became soldiers at the time and were called to defend the bakufu interests (Tokugawa Shogunate Government)who are trained by Egawa Eiryu but at the same time it also said that it began as a festival song before that, so it is not certain.
