Congratz Wren! You earned it this year!! Couldn't have gone to a better guy!

I disagree with everyone requesting more frequent tournaments. I think the wait gives people like Wren time to train and hone their use of a character. I also feel like it's a special Christmas present each year and I always look forward to it.

Certainly it'd be cool to see more Smash, but the tournament is a tradition and you don't wanna screw with that or it'll lose its specialness.

The storyline of Wren winning almost seems fictionally poetic. At the same time I feel like Super Smash champ is the most prestigious title in that office and would never be given up for a good video ending.

Good stories are told by capturing the action when something great happens. The editing is simply taking the things you captured and telling the story that did happen in a way that makes it as entertaining as possible. The craft is still relevant, still part of it, not taking away from the story but instead adding to it. :D And in general I agree, I don't think they'd do that. Looked like everyone who played him put in a genuine effort to win and Wren pulled some slick moves and took it home!

@@blugobln85 this ^ also idk if you've ever seen two really good smash players fight but it's so long and drawn out. The editing here makes it tolerable. The slip we got at the beginning of their match to 70% each was probably them going back and forth chipping each other for a good amount of time.

Dean: "Careful, Ganondorf can kill you in three hits" Wren proceeds to kill Ganondorf in three hits.

I really love how exited Sam was the moment that Wren defeated him. He wasn't frustrated, he was purely happy that Wren had come so far. You can tell that these guys have a really great friendship.

Jan: I think Wren... Is my most despised person. Also Jan: Is wearing a finger than Wren made for him.

The choreography on D & Jordan's fight was amazing. Looked like an actual anime with swords clashing

Watching Wren's first game, I noticed immediately that he levelled up. He was so serious and in it to win it. Congrats to Wren. Well done! I've been waiting for this tournament all year!

I love to see gui here love him off of corridor digital and love the character he played Frr like he could be dangerous with more practice

I love how these matchups suck for Ganon but the skill level is right at that perfect level for him to be viable lol

Can we just acknowledge Jordan Smash glow up. Like, she's getting to be a really decent player compared to the previous tournament

I was jumping, shouting, clapping, and having the best of time watching this tourney. This was AMAZING! Congrats WREN! I cannot wait for the next Tournament!

Wren is so entertaining, even when he is spectating everyone else playing.

I've never played smash Bros a single time in my life and yet I'm screaming like a little girl on Wren's win. That was so fun to watch!

Next year's going to be awesome. Everyone's skill levels are getting higher and higher, with the edge guarding and off-stage shenanigans all around now.

This was absolutely amazing. I’ve tuned in every year. This was a truly fun video to watch, that had me on the edge of my seat. My wife (who hates games) was tuned in and was rooting for Wren from the start. We love his science videos on the “Crew” channel.

Had me yelling out loud with excitement, didn’t realize how invested I got!

As a fellow Bowser main, I’m proud of Wren! He’s gotten a lot better over the last year! If he learns Bowers’ up throw combos and fair combos he can hold on to that trophy for awhile!

Jordan vs D was such a good fight. My heart dropped when D fell on his final stock. And Jordan has improved so much!

Wren has always been my favorite. His energy is just awesome. When the Smash videos started and I saw that Wren plays Bowser it was so awesome because I too love playing Bowser. I don't play Smash often but I'm decent. In some matches I do manage to beat the top players of my friend group. Now having Wren win the Tournament with Bowser is just so awesome to see. It's been such a nice time watching him fighting his way to the top. Congratulations to you Wren. You've earned it.

This years Smash tournament was Awesome! Everyone really put their heart and effort into winning the competition. Congratulations Wren! You've come a very long way. And great job to all the other members of Corridor for an amazing tournament of Super Smash Bros. Ultimate.

Definitely some of the best content i've seen all year, some great matches

There’s just so much to say about this match. The People’s Champion, watching Wren’s 4 year character arch, The Dean Niko/Clint rivalry. Everything about the fights and match ups were perfect in every way. The rivalry matches, the redemption fights, the character progression, and the tension building! It was the most satisfying ending with a small taste of future champs among the scramps (like Griffin, Clint, and Jordan!). This tournament is perhaps the greatest tournament in Node Smash History.

Genuinely the most hype I’ve been in a long time! Well done, Wren… You deserve it.

You know two Smash Players are high level when a solid second is spent on footsies.

The amount of time I’ve been waiting for this!!! Just when I thought my birthday couldn’t get better!!! 🙏

This was such a great story. There were literally 3 villians and a underdog with a heart of gold. I was on the edge of my seat the whole time. Epic.

Being such a long time watcher of Node and not even playing Smash I can’t help but cheer at some of those moments during these tournaments sooo much history behind all of this lol
