Slade Night on BBC FOUR 21st December 2012 was conceived from scratch in March 2012 by Solid Gold Hits.
Nod appeared the Thursday morning on BBC Breakfast to promote Slade Night before it was broadcast the following night Friday 21st December 2012.
The idea of Slade Night was submitted to then head of BBC Music Mark Cooper and BBC FOUR Controller Richard Klien on 13th March 2012, it comprised of the Len Brown BBC Manchester Documentary It's Slade, a new compliation called Slade at the BBC which featured performances from the BBC Archives and a showing of the 1975 Slade In Flame movie (which BBC Four had already shown in 2008)
Slade at the BBC has been seen by an estimated 5 million people over it's 8 showings.
That is 4,999,000 more than some 1000 Slade In Flame 'Lobby cards' that were suggested by the owner of a second rate Slade KZread Channel, to be included in the 2015 box set When Slade Ruled The World, who seems to have an issue with this all singing all dancing fab and groovy Solid Gold Hits KZread Channel.
And with the user of the second rate 'Slade Channel' being an egotistical, sycophant, narcissistic all self-loving ex Copper he has come unstuck.
I also done the majority of the on-screen captions for Slade at the BBC, all the other fella does is use clips from VHS videos he was sent by Slade fans and then tries to pass them off as his own!!
