The NOCO5 fixed on the high voltage mode when I used it for my 12V AGM motorcycle battery. I end up returned the unit. The battery is in working condition. I end upkeep using the current Battery Tender unit.

What an awesome product. I just bought it for my weekend driver! :)

Hey there, just out of curiosity should I put the black on the negative terminal of the battery or the ground like you did? because the manual said red on positive and black on negative. just wondering what I should do.. currently i have it on the negative terminal for the black clamp. thank you

My car battery is at the trunk of the car, The charging port are in the engine bay and my battery negative is the ground. On other cars where the battery is in the engine bay, You put charger directly on the battery positive & negative post. Please LIKE & SUBSCRIBE and Thanks for watching! 👍

What type of AGM battery do you have charged? Make, model, specs of the battery (Amps per hour Ah and CCA / EN Amps A)? It was ok, you are satisfy? It charges without overheating the battery? Thanks in advance for your time!

Hi 13Yte, The battery is original BMW AGM 90Ah and 720CCA, The battery didn't heat up and the charger conditions the battery and maintain it while my car is not in use. I have another charger to review from NOCO, Stay tuned for that. Please LIKE & SUBSCRIBE and Thanks for watching!!!👍

I heard it takes up to 15 hours to charge. Isn't that annoying if you have to plug the charger into an adapter inside your house. Is there a charger that doesn't actually have to be plugged into a socket in your house?

Hi Sophia, It may take up to 15hrs on a drained battery but if your battery is partially charge, It will not take 15hrs to charge, I know it's annoying when you have to park your car on the street then connect this charger all the way to your house but that is the only way to charge and maintain your battery. So.... you're supposed to plug it into an outlet *while* you are charging your battery? I think I messed up buying this.. I thought it was a portable charger, so if my batterey dies when I'm not home I can connect and charge it.... ? Am I missing something here?

You should keep it it's a good battery charger maintainer. But I believe what you were looking for is a jumper charger

The Genius 5 is ok, Don't worry about how long it's connected to your bike, This is fully automatic, it goes on maintenance mode when it finish charging you bike, You can leave it connected all the time. Thanks for watching!!!👍

The genius 5 can charge faster than the genius 2, But it depends on how much Amp Hour the battery is, Genius 5 have a repair mode, Maybe it can repair a 4 year old battery, Thanks for watching!👍

75Amp Hour Battery will be fully charged about 13hrs (@5 Amps) according to the Noco Genius 5 charging chart, Then it maintains it until you disconnect the power from the outlet.

The charge is 100% when the green stops flashing and is solid. You stopped it too soon.

NOCO 5 DOES NOT charge a 6v sealed lead acid battery. It will charge a 6v AGM (absorbent glass mat) battery and lithium

Hi, I've just checked the NOCO website about the Noco Genius 5 and what the 6V can charge, The spec says that it can charge 6-volt (Wet Cell, Gel Cell, Enhanced Flooded, Maintenance-Free and Calcium batteries). The maintenance free battery is the sealed lead acid battery, It says that it can charge on 6V. You should have no problem on charging a 6V sealed lead acid battery. @@edcardiy I have 2 6v sealed acid battery. It would not charge it. I spoke to NOCO support and they told me only AGM and lithium 6v can be charged.
