Nobody said it was easy
As soon as we drove around it was clear, most of the tracks were old. This might not be as easy as we first thought.

Clarky agree with you totally, just saw a calf with its arse torn apart back of canugra . The knockers eat meat wear leather shoes belts woollen products there ful of it. What is the biggest dig you have got. Keep up the good work
Thanks for another video, I enjoy watching and seeing just how hard it can be to trap dogs, I even learn a few things. Also I like the warning sticker in your buggy. Keep up the good work 👍🏼
Love the videos mate. Very enjoyable and educational.

Good job mate good job. Keep it up.
Great vid mate cheers
Hi from the UK Found your channel recently and mate I’ve enjoyed the trapping content. I spend a lot of time in the country side fishing but I’ve never been into shooting. All the information you share about setting the traps is so interesting. Totally agree with your thoughts about countryside management and how the townies in government know basically f#ck all about what they are trying to govern and legislate. Best of all is you and the dogs, fantastic stuff and personally I,d spend my time with our hounds than most people.
Fine work team
You have a great channel, those dogs are so intense
Good job Boys...
You got to have a bloody good memory to remember where all the traps are?
Mate love to watch your vids you have a great knowledge and experience money can't buy and one of the things I like about your vids is that you show the 22lr is no toy and shouldn't looked on as a pop gun I live in the UK and they won't licence you to shoot foxes with 22lr, but you can shoot one if you happen up on one you show this round is capable of taking anything with good shot placement.
Keep at it👍nice sticker on dash, they are out there🤦♂️
glad to see you back,,thought you might have been sick

Missed your video last week I hope all is ok on the homestead
Gday from Regional South Australia mate
A nice old Brno is it a mod 1 or a mod 2 Clark.. Thanks for shareing Regards Sleepy
I was thinking and still am that there must be a way to train Skunk or Brandon to give a sign/to communicate whether it's Dog, Pig or Cat that's been around the ground you're looking at for sign. The old test and small reward technique back home would surely work if patience could prevail. The words Dog Pig Cat and a scratch of paw to say yes I know can be done just like Up and In the back, outside, In there, Get it, Where is it, Here, Sit, etc can be easily taught. Your dogs look smart enough to go to Uni, especially Skunk, he could be the Prime Minister of Australia if he wanted.

I watch Skunks body language as he acts differently to each. In a clip coming up soon, filmed recently, we came across something that made his hackles stand up and he wouldn't approach it until I insisted.
Thank you for this video again! Respect your knowledge and experience very much. Knowledgeable of the terrain and animals is very important and you are educating others through this medium. Question if you don't mind. Do you (re)set the baseplates on the traps? I find that from the shop they are set very high. Thank you and good luck on your next run. Patrick

Patrick, thanks for tuning in. I found that the JC Conner Jake traps were all set very well out of the box but the same couldn't be said for some other brands. Some have to be reset after each dog or if a cow steps on them but the Jakes seldom fail.
👍
Hahaha...Iove the sticker on ya dash... Not to be operated by fuckwits... Exactly... And don't let them borrow ya stuff.... Good on ya mate.... Tks for the larf...
Other than a sharp mind is there any notes you keep on where you place all your traps Clark? Have you ever forgot where you set one?

@@ClarkMcGhiesWildCountry I see. Good to know :) the dogs are handy…but not sure they’d make good navigators ;)
I tell you I was totally amazed when you shot the running pig( at what looked to me to be 40 yards) running away with that 22lr.
