And believe me, here these guys would assasult you even for a CLP$1.000 bill (around US$2) so definitely they would go as far as killing someone to steal a console 😅

I don't know what it is about silk filaments (probably whatever additive they use) but they generally seem to have terrible layer adhesion. It helps to print at a higher temperature, but for a functional print just switching filaments was probably the move. Also, cool MCM poster. I love the superturbo.
Pro tip! When you're taking a picture to import into cad, include a ruler in the picture for scale, makes a world of difference
@theDutton
7 ай бұрын
Yep 💯, I do this at work, the ideal is to photograph your parts on a cutting mat with a grid and use as long a zoom lens as possible. Then seconds in photoshop removing any tilt replaces minutes of careful measuring I'll probably mess up anyway
If I remember correctly, the scaling issue you had with the photo is due to the lens warping the light farther away from the center of the image, so you should be able to take a picture from farther away and zoom in digitally to get more accurate results, but I'm not actually sure

I think it would've been cooler to implement it into a heavy jacket itself, with perhaps some kind of tube or heatsink that leads to an exterior hole on the jacket for venting, I can imaging the switch and yourself would get pretty hot with all the body temp and insulation
This is really cool. I wish you explained about battery life with the Anker. You probably could extend it constantly if you had more power banks, bigger ones, etc.

There are some that have a small molle panel in front which could be comfy and easily to modify to fit one of these.
