    Odenkirk is two years older than Reeves, so if either trained the other it would more likely have been Hutch Mansell who trained John Wick. But even more likely they were both trained by Hutch's dad. 😉

    Christopher Lloyd looks just like my grandfather. He passed away last year, one of the worst days of my life. We used to watch a lot of Lloyd’s movies so you can say we were fans. Anything with him in it is already an A+ in my eyes. I love seeing him at his age, still kicking ass, and fondly remembering my grandfather. Great movie

    This movie is great, it knows when it should and when it shouldn’t take itself seriously (as other commenters have pointed out) This scene comes in at a massive contrast to the Bus Fight but they both fit perfectly into the film.

    One of the greatest things about this movie vs., say, John Wick is that it doesn't take itself too seriously. I think that puts it one above John Wick & the other 'Middle age person who commits a small genocide' genre. And none of the others had Christopher Lloyd in them, so there's that too.

    Just like when the bad guys say "let me give you my arm so that you may do horrible things to my joints and surrounding soft tissues" in the martial arts parts of movies. That and as you say when they all end up in a pile because no one seems to notice that the guy in front of them just died, just like the guy in front of that guy just got shot, just like the guy in front of that guy.

    Depends on the ammunition used. A rifle round (I assume at least a .308 round) fired from a, well, rifle has a lot more penetration capabilities than a 9x19mm pistol round fired from an Uzi. There could also be a factor in that the Uzi is loaded with hollow points, which are designed to have less penetration capabilities.

    I love that no matter how many booby traps or explosions, there is no hesitation to just stay the course and walk right into the line of fire single file in the open against an opponent that one shot kills anyone he fires at while you fire 10x the ordinance at him and don’t hit shit. Hollywood bad guys never fail to impress. Lol

    These gangsters are really economical with their bullets and extremely brave that they would run into an ambush without a second thought. They are so brave that even after seeing 100 dead colleagues they don't want to back-off and regroup but just go head-on. Pretty realistic.

    @@CaptainDangeax That's totally not what happened. When facing soldier vs soldier, German losses were on par or greater than Russian. Germans just exterminated millions of Russian civilians and also killed most of the Russian POWs by starving them to death. Watch TIK History or read any encyclopedia. I would not speak about fertility of women if you knew how much German on RUssian and Russian on German rape there was in WW2.

    Ha ha ha ! It's hilarious to see old "Doc Brown" racking up a Russian body count with glee. It's hard to imagine Christopher Loyd in in this kind of role, and it tickles the hell out of my funny bone. Awesome casting on this movie and lots of great action scenes.

And they immediately wrote in a new character and reworked the script just for the chance to be able to get Lloyd in their movie. I know I would!

    I'm giggling at all the people that feel obligated to point out that this isn't how this would really go down. Duuuudes....we know. I'm a former firefighter, and there's no film about firefighting that is anywhere near accurate. But you know what we call films that are accurate? We call those "documentaries", and they don't make millions of dollars. This was my first "covid movie" after being out of the theater for far too long, and it was exactly what I was looking for.
