I love Resistance. It was crazy seeing Kaz's asshole dad on Ahsoka doing asshole things. Also, Neeku is one of my fave new Star Wars characters and I hope we see him again one day.

Star Wars shows that don't focus on Jedi are few and far between, glad to see Resistance getting some respect.

Kaz is the most normal person in the Star Wars universe he's skilled and worked very hard to be a great Pilot for the New Republic

@@Winter_Symphony Before, during and after :P There is a scene at the end of season 1 (I think) that shows Hux's speech from TFA, so that sets up the timeline fairly clearly.

Haven’t seen Resistance so I’m watching this no-context and it’s probably making it even more chaotic Wheezing at everything Neeku says Also, idk if you know the Six of Crows book duology (or the Shadow and Bone show) but the name Kaz keeps making me think of Kaz Brekker though he’s like the complete opposite of this Kaz Also also, totally agree on what you said about found family, it’s one of my favorite tropes!

I really liked the show, it still allows for the removal of the sequel’s biggest failure if it ever gets fixed (luke becoming hermit), and it’s on Par with early rebels/ early clone wars and if it continued for more than 2 seasons I think it could’ve been great and mimicked the clone wars in a lot of ways (padme+ anakin-> kaz & torra among others and kaz joins the resistance/ new republic so it has the same dynamic of they aren’t together a lot) only good pre-sequel content gets ended X_X Edit: also great edit on ur part

I recently finished rewatching this series as part of a Star Wars Saga marathon, and something caught my attention. In the scene when Kaz meets Bucket, Jarek says that he was already a hundred years old when he got the sassy droid. So what I’m wondering, was Bucket created during the final days of The High Republic era? 🤔

Like all the feloni animated series it starts out slow and lower budget but improves over time until it gets great. The weak openings are deliberate to get us attached to our characters. Some people don't understand that starwars isn't just about blaster battles and force powers.

I just realized something about the 5 on torra’s shoulder pauldrons and that we’ve seen it before on someone else’s shoulder pauldrons 😉

Neeku taking every sentence literally reminds me too much of Zane from Ninjago… 😂

This is the only way I am watching sequel era series

Sorry for my bad English. So I quite liked the series. The series is ok, and only ok. The best thing are the dogfights, they are the best of all the series, they are dynamic, well shot, etc. these are also the only moments when the main character is competent, but unfortunately, contrary to the announcement, there were not many of them. The second good thing is Order, they are really competent, and Commander Pyre is what Captain Phasma should have been in the trilogy and I hope he survived, after all we didn't see him die. The biggest flaw, in my opinion, is that the series should be called Collosus Station, because there is no Resistance there, and everything is focused around the station. And later Pablo Hidalgo explained why it turned out that way, namely the chaos in the sequel trilogy and not very good cooperation with Abrams, so everything had to be put aside. Moreover, in the first season we had a lot of races (both old and new, unlike the sequels), references to the world of legends (the muse in the bar is the muse from Javyar cantina from KOTOR), supporting characters that gave potential, such as an ex-pilot of the empire or daddy with an imperial uniform in the closet, the above-mentioned Commander Pyre with golden armor much different from the movie Phasma (the book is a different story), not to mention Agent Tierna, an atmospheric engine room and a parts shop. Ren himself, shown despite 50 seconds of presence, is at the level of Vader or rather Darth Cadeus/Jacen Solo from legends). My biggest flaw is the main character, some people compare him to Ezra, which I don't agree with, (besides, I'm a fan of Ezra) Ezra could be irritating at the beginning, but he was much more competent, he didn't squeal like a girl, he didn't complain about everything every step of the way . Although it was funny to me that in season 2 Order considered gi to be some kind of super spy. Instead of making him a clown, you could have focused more on his relationship with his father, who was glimpsed a few times (and who, despite being a senator of Hosnian Prime, survived its destruction, which had enormous potential). Or maybe it's mainly about the relationship with Tam, they didn't like each other very much during the entire season, and then suddenly in season 2 they had friends with each other. In my opinion, they would have done it better if, for example, in the first season, Tam decided to teach Kaz mechanics and Kaz to teach her how to fly, and their friendship would develop from there. And these things will be reflected in season 2, and speaking of this, in season 2 I missed some major clash between them, either in the air or on the ground (or both at the same time), where they could throw out whatever is on their mind. And the animations of objects (depending on people) are quite good, especially the views in space.

I don’t mind the small series i do like it the problem is season two like there’s nothing bad about it the main problem is they’re not really resisting more like running away like listen to the storm trooper command they call them resistance like sure they can run away all they want but they can’t do that forever they have to fight at some point and in one of the episodes they were trying to find a new home planet and just go back for racing and just staying there I’m just like really there’s a war going on and they are trying to kill you you should join the resistance and the remnants of the new republic military and government and win the war against the first order!?!?!
