Hi. Am happy yours came out great. Exactly what type of interfacing did you use and did it stand upright? Someone gave me something to use but the bag was droopy which I didn't like.

Спасибо за идею,я сшила по вашему мастер классу такую сумочку,внучка забрала,добавила кармашки во внутрь и с внешней стороны на замочек,шью ещё одну,но замок сверху немного изменила,края замка обработала кусочком обтачки,так легче вшивать замок,и нет утолщения при стачивании.Спасибо.

This was such a fun project! It was my first time sewing on a machine. It came out better than expected. Absolutely loved the tutorial. I do wish there was a voiceover going over the details.

Thank you for the clear instructions - just finished my bag today & it looks great! The only extra thing I added was a cardboard base in a fabric sleeve, to sit inside the bag for added shape. Can't wait to make another now!

I do that too, but I started using plastic needle point canvas, which is very inexpensive, and holds up much better than cardboard. I also did one with insulated batting to carry cold items from the grocery store

I love it!! What interfacing did you use?

I have found that you get better results if you first make one or two practice bags using similar fabric. Of course it takes additional time, but there are always mistakes with the first bag, and you will learn from them. Also, sometimes that old discarded fabric will often take on a new life which will surprise you. The old saying that an ugly duckling will become a beautiful swan is never more true when it comes to good sewing.
