Wow! This kit sounds great! It’s so unique. That likely has at least something to do with the characteristics of the room you are recording in. As I hear you play, I immediately thought of Simon Phillips. I feel that his kits are often tuned in a similar fashion as these. Well done, mate! I own a Noble & Cooley walnut kit that ,I too, am very happy with. Thank you for sharing.

I’m all about supporting and encouraging other musicians to continue to reach higher. It’s important for you to know that you’ve made a real connection with this passion project. Drumming is awesome. I’ve recently bought a bunch of new gear for recording. Some of the items were on back order so I am waiting patiently until then. Just curious! Your snare is so high up how do you play the hi hats? You don’t have any vertical space between them
